I'd like to go back to school someday. I think I'd like to do nursing, but I'm not sure.

I am working on a degree in social work. I am about half way there, I took some time off to have my two youngest children, then we moved so I have to find a school first.

Patience is a hard one for me, I am just too tired to have any. LOL

What degree are you working on?
Patience is something I should work on too. I have no patience for slow/stupid people (I mean people who have no physical/medical reason to be this way. It just seems to take them forever to understand that 1 plus 1 equals 2.)

Mimi,
congratulations on quitting the smoking habit. I know it is very hard. It took me a good three months to fight the temptation. I did not know what to do with my hands plus you go through the withdrawal symptoms. I haven't smoked in 15 years. I used to admit to only 2 packs a day.

This is one of the greatest accomplishments you can do for you. I am proud of you.

This has been a long struggle, where I did real well the first couple of years and then slowly ended up gaining most of the weight back.

check in time for me:

1. No smoking since Jan 1st at 2AM. So that's 8 days and 15 1/2 hours smoke free. I went cold-turkey too so it's completely nicotine free. Sigh. Man I miss it. oh well, I'll survive.

2. I've maintained my weight for the first week of 2007. But seeing as I've managed, so far, to quit smoking I'll count that as a victory.

3. everyone is still alive, so good? ;-)

4. I think I have a nickel in my purse I haven't spent yet.

I am going to keep my list very short because if I make too many plans, I will stray again:

1. Lose another 50 lbs in 2007

2. Get more organized at home.

3. Renovate my bedroom.

Here are my resolutions for 2007 :

1. Quit smoking. This happens January 1st. No ifs ands or buts about it (ha,ha, bad pun, I know.)

2. Lose weight. Hoping to see my goal by my birthday (in Sept)

3. Be a better wife and mother.

4. Try to put some money in a savings account, for emergencies and whatnot.

Guess that about covers it all. How about yourselves?
