welcome to walmart and sp. I usually eat some crackers and a diet soda for my breaks. Then get a vegetarian meal for lunch. That helps my get my vegetables.

Melinda, welcome to Wal-Mart and SP.

I recommend that you have a little snack on each break. It will keep your blood sugar level more even and keep you from overeating at meal time. I usually have a piece of fruit or a granola bar or something similar to that.

This has been a long struggle, where I did real well the first couple of years and then slowly ended up gaining most of the weight back.

Welcome to Wal~Mart Melinda. I also live around 2 miles from work so I go home for lunch. It is easier to follow my food plan if I am not around all the temptations.

I have been at WM For 13 years and started out in snack bar. Talk about temptations I too never ate much at work but watch out right after. I do find if I have a big healthy breakfast. I am not as hungry later on. With the supercenters it would be easier to purchase fresh fruit or Vegies to eat on each break to help to calm the end of work munchies.

I heard last year when we vacationed in Branson last year I heard they were anxiously waiting for the new walmart. I am sure you will continue to enjoy lt.

Hi everyone! I'm not only a newbie to this team, I'm a Walmart newbie! I had orientation, yesterday, at store #4381 in Branson, Missouri. It's a brand-new Supercenter...only been open about a week.

I've been doing low-carb for about 2-months, now. I am allowing myself 50-carbs or less, a day. So far, I've lost around 20-pounds, and am feeling so good! I'll be working in the Bakery, so I hope I don't absorb all of those carbs, through my

I've been a restaurant server for the past 15-years. Since I've always been waiting on tables in busy restaurants, I've never had a job that allowed me to take a break. I've worked many 8-hour shifts, without even a bite of food, the whole 8-hours. This has always wreaked havoc on my diet, because by the time I get off work, I'M STARVING...and sometimes pig-out on the first thing I find (sometimes I find it in a drive-thru, on my way home).

So, I am very impressed with the two 15-minute breaks and the hour for lunch. I only live 2-miles from the Supercenter, so I went home for lunch, yesterday. I think I'll go home sometimes, and sometimes I'll eat there, and maybe walk for about 15-minutes, outside.

Anyway, I'm happy to find this team, and I think I'm going to be happy working for Walmart.
