I feel more encouraged thanks, I can probably get on the floor but I won' t be able to get up so I will start on my bed and do what I can until I can do more. Thanks for the feedback it really helped.

@LRUSSELL6 When I started doing things here at SP I couldn't finish a mile (in an hour, let alone the 15 minutes or less it takes me to do it now), my squat form was non-existent and externally there was no evidence I was even trying, and forget pushups (to which now I can do above what is expected on their charts for my age level in one minute's time) What I did is do what I could do. I couldn't get down on the floor at first--so I did those exercises on top of my bed. I didn't worry if I couldn't move much--I did what I could. I held a plank for as long as I could (a few seconds) and eventually I got better. I walked as far as I could. Best wishes in finding what works best for you.
