We used to have ham. Since the kids are grown and out of the house, I am generally alone, so I don't do much. I am getting myself some chicken wings for dinner tonight as a treat!

Last day of December, last day of 2015. Don't actually know where it all went to. Well, I spent a LOT of time mowing the lawn.

I will go to bed early tonight, because I gave up on New Year's Eve a looong time ago, but will be hosting dinner for sis and bil tomorrow. Roast pork, but no sauerkraut or black eyed peas.

What are some other MUST HAVE foods for New Years?

We have lasagna for CHristmas. My SIL likes to cook and he wanted to make his lasagna since we were at his house. It ended up that I was his sous chef, since he had an emergency appendectomy 2 days before Christmas and couldn't stand up long enough to cook. I was good and followed his recipe exactly. It turned out much better than I remember it, so he must have modified the recipe in some way. And he was happy.

Hi all, it has been quite a while since I posted. While working on the living and dining room we took down the computer and it is not back up again. I just donít have the patience to post using my tablet! It doesnít have a keyboard, maybe I should get one. Anyway I hope to get the computer back up this weekend (best laid plans and all that). Christmas was really nice, we celebrate on Christmas Eve so that the kids can visit the families of their spouse and significant other. It was just too hard trying to figure out Christmas day and by the time they got to us my granddaughter was exhausted and not in the mood for food or gifts. It has worked out really well and I had a really nice quiet Christmas day. It is almost January, I can't believe it went so fast!

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and that you are all gearing up for a Happy New Year! We donít usually do much but I do make black-eyed peas for New Year ís Day, my family hates them but I make everyone eat a little bit! I make cabbage too and they like that!

Barbara, I love the find grandma game with your grandson, they sure do keep you hopping, donít they? Glad you didnít gain any weight, I did for sure! Do take care of that leg!

Jumpup, you didnít gain any either, that is excellent!

A very reasonable approach, Jumpup. I know from experience that when you set out to "be good" and allow no leeway, you are setting yourself up for failure.

I don't have any more celebrations until my son's birthday dinner in a week or so. He has already requested his lasagna and cheesecake, so I will eat a big meal, but a lot of that will go home with him.

Oooh, wings! I was thinking thia morning that I would like wings for my NY Eve treat. I am not sure that I want to brave the stores before Friday though!

And tomorrow is the return to regular exercise. My leg has been bothering me a lot so I am hoping to see a doctor shortly after the new year. There's nothing to be done, but I just want to check in.

Welcome home, Barbara!

Enjoy those waffles. Savor every bite.

Went to visit an aunt and uncle last night and we had pizza and wings, candy and cookies - I reveled in it knowing I had done my full routine with weights in the morning, and that the holidays are drawing to a close. There'll be one last large meal, probably, on New Year's Day, but that day starts my return to reality! And a new set of goals.

I feel pretty lucky, I ate with care, but not too much, and neither gained nor lost either, which was my goal for the holidays. Brother leaves tomorrow and will take with him the last of the temptations - Life is good!

Here Comes the Sun!

Home at last--at 2:15 am this morning! By the time I got to bed, it was 3:30, but I got up around 8:30. I'm tired now.

But--I neither gained nor lost during the holiday. So that's good. I made myself waffles for breatfast this morning, and I am not worrying about anything today, but tomorrow I will try to start eating normally for me, again. My daughter's family eats reasonably healthy, but they have a fairly carb heavy diet because of my grandson, who basically has rice at every meal. And not a lot of vegs. I may have to make a foray to the market this faternoon to get some salad fixings.

Hope all a wonderful and merry Christmas!

I ate way too much, but did get my routines in, even if I didn't post them all. Trying for weights today. Brother seems to be tolerating the cats pretty well, but he makes sure to be out of the house most of the time! I think all my cleaning paid off.

Have more family to visit today, and that means more food. I will just have to be careful.

Jan 1 starts a whole new set of goals for me, but there's no sense in overdoing it now!

One of my grandson's favorite things since I have been here is "find grandma" which means I crouch behind a chair and he runs around the house "looking" for me. But we got a new wrinkle yesterday and every one had to run around. I don't run but I got a few more steps than I have been! That kid never gets tired!

Yeah, I might or might not have everything done by the time brother comes in. Too bad. I'll do the best I can.

Did get my morning routine in this morning and did over 10,000 steps yesterday!

So sorry about SIL, Barbara, hope it all goes well! And enjoy your vacay anyway!

Merry Christmas to All!

I have that same problem--things I wouldn't have thought twice about getting done in the past now wait and wait.....

So yesterday my SIL saw the doctor again and today he is having an appendectomy! It puts a crimp in Christmas.

We had our Christmas pot luck breakfast at work this morning, way too much good food. I did stick with fruit and proteins, just a very small taste of a muffin. It was still too many calories but better than I would have done in the past.

I just got a gift, it was cookies! So I will take them home and let my family have them.

No, see the problem is I don't have ENOUGH energy! It takes me too long to do all this stuff! This wouldn't have phased me when I was younger, now it's like climbing Everest!

But I will say, I am getting my morning routines in, losing the calorie battle to the cookie doughs, and I THINK I'll have the house done by the time brother gets in!

(the last job is to empty the litter box, LOL!)

You do have a lot of energy Jumpup!

Barbara, you definitely don't forage as much at someone elses house, it is one of the nicer things about visiting. Does control that urge to snack! I find that if I can get snacking under control then I will lose weight most of the time.

I had a busy weekend. We are still getting the house in order, trying to finish up my Christmas shopping and do a little baking. Our tree fell down, a couple of the ornaments my mom painted for me broke, it just broke my heart! We got it all back up but did not put the glass ornaments back on. It is just not the best tree, we did wait too long to get one. I usually get one the weekend after Thanksgiving even if I just put it in water. I should have done it this year. Anyway, it looks good now, I do have a ton of ornaments!

Barbara, GOOD for YOU!!!!

It's hard when it's your own house and you know where to forage for the goodies.....

I'm actually accomplishing stuff! I got my brother's room cleared of the stuff it's collected and stowed (mostly in the basement - I won't have time to clean up the basement beyond sweeping the floors). The heavy lifting is done, now it's more like just cleaning the house, and I can do that! Plus bake all the cookies!!!! I hope.

Felt really great yesterday, feeling pretty good today, too, so there is hope! Got my morning routine in early, will do weights, too, but right now I am very hyped up, lots of nervous energy that doesn't get much done, so I think I'll grab my mp3 player and do 10 or 15 minutes on the bike. That might calm me down enough to get some work done!

Hope he feels better soon.

We're going to have a 60degree and rainy Christmas. Better than shoveling snow, I say!

Whole routine in early this morning except bike and I will do that later. Off to start deep cleaning cat hair out of the house for my allergic brother who is coming in Christmas Eve night.

Glad you made it safely. He must be a good dad if he's worried about his wife like that.

We got a little lacy dusting of snow overnight. But it feels so COLD!!

Keeping up with my routines, even got a little cardio in on the bike yesterday.

Thanks...so far so good. They sent an Uber to get me at the airport which worked out fine. SIL seems good although I know he doesn't feel great. My being here helps because he is comfortable that my daughter has help with my grandson, who is just wonderful! He has his 3year old tantrums but his still pretty sweet.

Good morning all, it is a cold day here. We have been very spoiled this fall, it is not too bad out, only in the low 30s so I really shouldn't complain. It is supposed to snow later but not very much and it will probably melt because the ground is too warm yet.

Barbara, I hope you have a good trip and your SIL is okay. That is kind of scary!

I guess I accidentally deleted my post from yesterday - I don't see it anywhere. No matter.

I did get on the bike, I did find the horn, but I haven't hung it up yet. I was screwing in a hook to hang it on, and the darn thing broke off level with the door. Now I'm gonna have to get the drill out, see if I can drill out the broken bit, or if I have to drill a new hole 1/8" off center.

Temps dropped last night and will be in the 30s today, with a little snow in the forecast - some places to expect 6"!! But it'll 'warm' back up again, so no white Christmas - which I think is overrated ANYway

Have gotten about half my routine in so far this morning, will finish it up when I am done posting.

Hope your trip into the storm center is OK, Barbara, stay safe and have a great time.

I am off to Seattle in about 45 mintes. Well, starting my trip. It is going to be a long day. My SIL went into the hospital yesterday with a burst appendix, so obviously, he can't pick me up at the airport. How I will get from there to their house is up in the air. I'm getting in at rush hour so it is going to be a nightmare. At least, he seems to be doing well and they are letting come home today.

Always a challenge this time of year with all the staff bringing home made goodies into the office. One associate is sending a package to me -- am sure it's a fruitcake (which I will happily give to a neighbor!). Even our holiday get-togethers involve food and drinks -- so am trying very hard to keep whatever I order to very minimum. Would love to chow down -- but then it will be a slippery slope to climb back up.

Barbara, I am not the one going to the trouble, it is my daughter and SIL. And if they want to it is okay. I am a very patient soul so I will let them have at it.

The book and cookies sounds like great fun, have a good time!

Frannie, I wouldn't go to so much trouble for lights! I used to use only colored lights, and then got a very long string of white ones that have a switch to make them blink, which I love, so I used those only for years.

Ah, the cookies! I'm leaving tomorrow for Christmas in Seattle with my daughter and I am hoping to get myself detoxed. They eat pretty healthy, I;'m not that fond of my SIL's cooking, and I won't have snacks around. Not that I have a lot of snacks at home, but I'm not going to go foraging in someone else's house. Which is a good thing! The plan is to make cookies with my grandson but that won't be terrible. One of the books I have for him at my house is The Berenstain Bears, A Week at Grandma's. In it, the cubs make honey nut cookies with their grandma, so I found a recipe online and I am going to make it with him. He loved the book.

Good morning, it is a gray morning here but that is pretty typical winter weather in Chicago. Winter is so gray! We bought all new lights for the tree (mine have been around for years) and it turns out some were warm white and some were cool white, not all of them had the labels left when we got them and they look the same. So we had to return some because they were so different. So daughter and SIL got new lights, they don't match either so they are going out again today to find lights that match. This used to be so much easier. I would just go with color but over half the tree is done and I don't want to take them off again. I may get it decorated by Sunday!

We are gearing up for Christmas at school, it is a crazy time with children. Also everyone brings goodies and it becomes somewhat of an obstacle course to avoid them. I am going into full cookie baking mode this weekend with my granddaughter. We made sugar cookies a couple of weeks ago and she loved it. So we are going to do that again, but I am also going to make shortbread cookies and some others. Her mom's favorite cookie is a bar, it is sugar cookies with orange marmalade spread over the top, then nuts and then chocolate drizzle. It is such a good cookie! Then I am giving them all away! Well, we are keeping some for Santa, GD is very concerned that Santa have cookies!

Did my 35 wall-ups while my figs came to a boil. Barbara, I'm with you, I like my own cooking best, although sometimes it's nice to have someone else do it!

Hope you got through your potluck with a happy tummy! And that you didn't overdo it!

I am entering Cookie Baking Season, so I need to be vigilant about what goes in my mouth! And I think I'm going to up my cardio by using the dusty stationary bike in the basement again.

While I'm down there, I'll have a look through the Christmas boxes - there's one horn in particular that I want to put on the front door!

Jumpup, I decorate as much for me as for anyone else. So many of my ornaments have been around for a long time and I love seeing them each year. I have a lot my mom painted so I really love getting them out and enjoying them, she was a very talented artist.

Good for you Frannie! Putting up Christmas is a lot of work, even if it is fun. I haven't even unpacked my Christmas boxes since I moved into this house, but I'm feeling more festive this year and will root around in them until I find a few key pieces that I want to put up.

My decorations are all geared for a small Victorian with lots of luscious woodwork (that I refinished). But I live in a modern ranch now, with NO woodwork or fireplace, and it has yet to truly speak to me about how to decorate it. Not that it matters, everyone is allergic to my cats, so no one comes in, but I want a little bit up to help my spirits.

Hi ladies. I had a busy weekend. We refinished my hardwood floors in the living and dining room last week, (they were covered with carpet) and are trying to decide what furniture to move back in and what to get rid of. This has cost me a lot but it is so worth it. I am lucky I had someone to do the work. Anyway, lots of moving, tossing, cleaning and organizing. We got the tree yesterday, it was unseasonably warm but rainy and damp. I ended up getting soaking we but we got a tree and it is up. I have boxes all over my living room from the Christmas decorations, lights and such. I have to start putting them away until the end of the holidays. Hopefully I will get some of that done this evening. I still have the lights to put on the tree and the tree ornaments but I should be able to put away the other boxes.

Funny--my big cheat yesterday was a bagle also. I'm going to a potluck tonight, and I am not terribly sure of what people are bringing. We're doing a Spanish theme because the book we read was set in the Dominican Republic. I'm making Mexican rice, and I know one person is bringing pasteles which I look forward to trying. Although the dish she brought last time was awful. Sometimes going to a potluck or dinner where the cook is just bad is the best diet!!! I love my own cooking way too much!

We have humidity here on the lake, but our temps don't get so high. Although the first time daughter came home from AZ in the summer, she said she got off the plane and felt like she was swimming.

Barbara, you do what you need to do! If you need a rest day, take it. If you don't get to the gym, the sky will not fall.

I am handling Dec one day at a time. Yesterday I did good on the strength training, not so hot on the cardio and I really slipped off the calorie and healthy eating wagon when I stopped at the corner store and they had these luscious looking..... well, I ate one. Tried to make up for it at dinner, but not sure how well I really did when I followed my apple and cheese up with a bagel and a glass of wine.

I did get my entire morning routine in, including all my weights, this morning. And I finally picked up the 8lb weights I thought I was ready for this summer. Needless to say, my reps were not the same, LOL! 8lbs is a LOT heavier than 5lbs!!!

Have a great day.

First off, being up at 2:45 am is ungodly.

I can't imagine living fulltime in the humidity either. I grew up in NY and it never bothered me but when I visited after some years of living in SoCal, it was intolerable. Never had the remotest desire to visit FL, much less live there.

Good for you. I was very, very bad this morning and just did not feel like going to the gym, so I didn't. Perk of age.

When I was in AZ this fall and their temps were still hitting 100 during the day (and I was in heaven), as evening came on and the temps fell to 70s, my dearest sil started turning off the ceiling fan, closing the sliding doors - he was getting cold and I was gasping for air! God bless all you southwestern clime people.

I have no idea how the southEASTERN people handle the heat WITH humidity. You will never find me moving to Florida.

Got my Wall-ups in this morning, feeling kind of proud of myself. And feeling it in my back and arms! Will be finishing the rest of my routine later (I woke up at an ungodly hour and it's only 2:45 am now.)

Have a wonderful day, whether you turn the heat on or not!

Brrr--when it is 65, it is cold here! I turned the heat on for one cycle when I went up for bed last night because it was so cold. It is pretty nice out but the house is pretty cold today. I'm going to hold out until after dinner to warm it up before bed.

Thank you--and good for you, being so consistent with your sink-ups/wall-pushups. I like wall-pushups and do them fairly often. I can't do a push up to save myself but I get a feeling of accomplishment from doing the wall ones and theya re a very good workout as well. I often feel it in my arms.

Barbara, I am proud of you for getting to the gym so regularly!

I did my morning routine, changing from sinkups to wall-ups. That better targets the muscles I need to finally do a regular pushup! Took me long enough to figure that one out.

Temps supposed to go up to 65 today and 68 tomorrow, I am turning the heat OFF and opening windows!

Rain today, but not tomorrow, hope to get out for a walk. I might just pick up my sister's dog and go to the park with him. She claims to be too busy cleaning the house for Christmas company to come with me, and she probably is. No one comes here, because everyone is allergic to my cats - didn't I plan that well...

Hah! I turned on the heat this morning!! I was so cold, and the house was in the low 60's. I'll turn it off soon.

I did the gym again this morning and so far so good.

Why. Barbara, you must be freezing! LOL. I know it's not a joke, though. That's a pretty big drop. Our weekend will be going from 40 to 60, so I'm about ready to break out the shorts! (not really, 60, at this time of year, is still chilly. AFTER winter, it's like a heat wave!)

Frannie, I do hope the vertigo goes away for you. My aunt hated having it.

Got the rest of my routine in yesterday, and if I don't do it right now, it'll have to wait til I get back from the eye doc.

Have a great day - and don't overdo things - either one of you!

The temps here went from 86 to 68 in one day!!

I am having some frustrations--not terrible, it's just annoying. Hopefully, things will straighten out.

I am sore from my first real exercise in weeks, and tomorrow will be my second. I plan to replicate Tuesday's routine and just do 35 minutes on the elliptical, my weights, and if I feel like it, another 10 minutes of easy walking on the treadmill. My legs get almost crampy. I do think that having not done much for a month, my muscles are tighter than normal and need some gentle activity to get them stretched back out.

Happy Thursday everyone, I am glad it is almost Friday. I have had a cold, I stayed home Monday and felt better Tuesday but am feeling a little peeked today. My SIL has had the same cold and his has come and gone twice now. He is feeling very bad today. I hate colds!

Jumpup, the first time it happened I saw an ENT, he said it was from an inner ear infection and it would go away (along with a terrible buzzing in my ear). I did a lot of reading and sometimes it does not go away but it did eventually stop. It takes weeks. However, now, when I get a cold I am prone to have mild vertigo again. I talked to one of our school nurses about it and she said it is not at all unusual for the vertigo to come and go. It does get milder each time so it may stop altogether one day. The 1st time was horrible and I could not even walk across a room, I missed more work then than I have almost my whole time working here. It has never gotten nearly that bad again.

We are having such a mild fall, I am so glad. We did have an early snow but it went away. We are going to get 50s the rest of the week!

Barbara, I live in Ohio, alongside Lake Erie. The El Nino, especially a good strong one like this year's, keeps the arctic air flow from going down too far south. We Win!

got about a half mile walk in this morning, I carry a little flashlight with me like a headlight when I walk in the dark (also to see my way). Going to start my regular routine as soon as I am done posting.

Frannie, what does the doc say about the vertigo? Are they giving you anything for it? Does it work? My aunt developed vertigo as she got older (fell upon standing a few times), but the Rx didn't seem to help her.

Where are you, Jumpup?

Frannie, that is kind of scary. Keep safe.

I took it very easy at the gym because I knew I would feel it and I do. My old leg issue (IT band injury) which had flared up again after years is bothering me a little, too. It is the proverbial vicious circle--if I don't exercise, it's bad for me, but when I do, these things get aggravated! I will go again on Friday and once again be very gentle with myself.

Got my morning routine in and the weather should be nice, so maybe I'll get a walk in, too. It certainly won't be nice for much longer. Last year at this time, we were digging ourselves out of a blizzard. (Sorry for the rest of the country, but we REALLY like El Nino's in my neck of the woods!)

I am glad you got another car Barbara, it is not safe having a car die on you. Good for you, getting to the gym!

I am taking it kind of easy, it seems like everytime I get a cold now I have vertigo for awhile. I had an inner ear infection a couple of years ago and it has been like this since. It is not very bad but it does make me feel off balance.

It literally died on me one morning, luckily very near home. It started up again but I decided that was the straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak. The salvage company is coming to pick it up tomorrow. It will be a relief!!

I did the gym this morning but decided not to push it. I did 35 minutes on the elliptical, some floor exercises/weights and then 10 easy minutes on the treadmill. I'll be able to go about three more times before I leave for Seattle. Once I get there, I might get some exercise but my daughter walks way too fast for me, so it will only be if I go out alone.

Frannie, glad you got your paint and floors done!

Barbara, what happened to your old car? Glad you had fun with you Mah Jhongg group.

I am taking this whole thing one day at a time, and you know, I've gotten more exercise in the last few days than I had been.

Classes don't start up again til the end of January! I'm on my own, and I better keep my act together.

Hi all, I have been MIA for a couple of days, we got the living and dining rooms painted and then my SIL worked on refinishing the hardwood floors. He should be done today but that was where the wireless was hooked up and it had to come down until he is done. I was also sick with a cold all weekend so did not much feel up to anything. I am back at work and can get on the internet for a bit to chat.

The paint turned out gorgeous, I am so happy with the colors. The floors are old, they are stained but he has them looking pretty good. We are putting on a darker stain to help even the color a bit. I cannot wait to have my living room back!

Hope everyone wakes up and gets back in here!!

I had a pretty decent weekend. Having a car really took a load off my mind. Yesterday my mah jongg group had a little holiday celebration which was fun. I admit that I ate more than I should have but I adjust for times like that.

Cleaned the house today and plan to spend a lot of time knitting on my grandson's Christmas gift.

Tomorrow--back to my exercise routine!! After a few weeks off, I plan to go slowly, but it is going to feel good to get back in the routine, especially since next week I will be leaving to visit my daughter for the holidays and the routine will be shot until the New Year!!

Got off to a good start this morning, did my sinkups (up on toes to make it harder) and calf raises.

Got a to do list a mile long, replete with laundry and trash out, so it should be a fairly active day.

Grey is a soft and restful color, and goes with everything. I have horrible maroon carpeting and grey is one color I have considered inteh past. I actually have painted my house (inside) myself twice, but I am not comfortable climbing ladders like I used to!

I hear you , Jumpup. Because of my car situation, I haven't been able to do my usual routine for several weeks. I hope to resolve my problem this weekend, and get back to a normal exercise routine again.

Do what you like and don't worry about anyone else! After all everyone has an opinion! The 1st accent color we picked, once I got it on the wall (I have had huge swatches of paint on my living room walls for months!) I didn't like, it was dark and just not inviting but the one we are using is really nice. It is a nice contrast with the sofa. I wanted to use a purple gray, it would have looked great against the sofa but my hubby was not thrilled.

Frannie, glad to hear from you! Just a side note. I have had paint chips hanging on the walls of each room for months now. I picked two tones of gray for the living room and dining room (combined); it is, after all, a hot trend in wall colors.

My sister stopped by a bit ago and said, oh don't paint gray, it's such a dead color (dead as in no life to it). I SO disagree and am motivated to get that gray on the walls before it goes out of style!

Jumpup, jump in here when you can! I am lucky I have help painting. I can do it but my SIL has already gotten both the dining room and living room painted with the 1st coat of paint. I asked him if he wanted help or wanted me to get the hell out of his way, you can guess what he said! I love the color, it is a very light gray. My sofa is sage green and it looks really nice. You don't realize how bad it looks until you start painting. My walls needed paint really bad. Jumpup, I really can't afford this either but I think it is already making me feel better, it just looks so good. I have been trying to pick colors for about 6 months now.

I have been MIA for a while, just lost all my motivation. And I've put a couple (just a couple, but there they are) pounds back on. Not sure what happened. I realized I had quit my daily routine for the most part - or at least not pursuing it with the same zeal, and had started binge eating!!!!

Still not quite steady on my feet yet, and approaching holidays don't help, but I am determined to get my mojo back. I signed up for my Spring Rec classes, and added a couple, including Yoga and a personal training session for Tai Chi. I didn't like the swim class that was available last semester, so I quit going and I started having trouble with the Tai Chi steps, so I backed off that too.

Classes start the end of January, so I'm going to take baby steps this Dec, renew myself on New Year's, speed up through January and hit the ground running for my classes.

I may as well, I really don't have much else to do, LOL! I don't drive at night anymore, my health is stable so I don't have a ton of doc appts anymore.

I'd like to paint too, but right now, I can't afford to buy all the paint I would need! This house needs a lot of renovation, some I can do, most of it I can't (I do NOT TOUCH anything electrical) The smallest room to tackle is my bedroom and I could start there, but oh, I hate to have my bedroom all torn up while I do it. But it's the room that I can do almost all the work in, so I guess it should be my starting place. I can start by giving it a good dusting and vacuuming!!!

I'll be here as often as I can!

Here Comes the Sun!

Barbara, my SIL is a doll, he has done so much for me (my own son does not believe that I need that much help!).

I want your SIL! Of course, mine lives 1000 miles away, so I don't know if he would be like that if he were here. My son definitely takes the stance that I am capable of taking care of myself! And my house desparately needs painting.

Barbara, any movement is good! The more you move the more you will want to!

Today is a chilly gray day, I walked to work this morning and had to wear gloves and a hat! I guess winter is coming.

We are painting my living room, or my SIL is. I hope this works out okay, I want it done in the next few days so I can decorate for Christmas. I love my SIL dearly, he is the nicest person but he is such a perfectionist that it may take him all month. I am very nervous about it but he insisted on doing it and I cannot take off to help. Pray for me!

Happy with myself this morning. I went for a walk yesterday and again today. It wasn't long--about 30 minutes today--but I was outside and in the sunshine!

Thanks, Frannie.

Char, you should try to remember that you are on the East Coast, but I am in the West, so I am three hours behind you anyway.

Char, Barbara usually Barbara starts a new monthly thread and adds a sticky to it, she may not have seen yours. Every now and again she is late but she usually doesn't start one until the 1st day. If she hasn't started it after a couple of days I gently remind her in the previous thread. She is pretty good about it.

It's amazing how quickly the year goes by! It feels like the school year just started and we are almost half way through!

I am going to focus very hard on portion control, I really think that is a big part of my problem. I just eat too much! I do exercise but I need to work on ST also. I think if I can get my eating back under control and measure my portions again I will begin making progress.
