Unfortunately, we can't lose where we want to. We lose where were genetically programmed to. But strengthening the core muscles, as Frannie mentioned, will help a lot.

The only drawback to most frozen meals is the high sodium content, which can cause water weight gain & bloating. But not everyone has that problem.

As long as you are eating healthy and exercising then there isn't any problem with Lean Cuisine, it is a calories in - calories out kind of thing. The only way to trim your tummy is to lose the extra pounds you carry there but doing core exercises help to firm up your muscles. There isn't really a way to lose from a certain spot, you can only firm and tone the muscles. That certainly helps that area look better.

Good for you for quitting smoking! That is awesome. Just keep doing what you are doing, this is not a quick trip but a life long journey. It is learning how to eat and live the way you should all the time and making those changes last. Good luck!

Hi ladies! I've read so many articles I really start to confuse myself. Is processed food a major problem with getting rid of the spare tire I am carrying around? I have started eating healthier but I am still taking Lean Cuisines to work for lunch. So far I have done away with artificial sweetners and have switched my allergy pills for raw local honey (read allergy pills can actually contribuite to the tummy fat).

I could use some good advice on how to trim this area. I have started walking every day (a gym just does not work with my budget), making sure I get all my water in and I'm getting better at incorporating more veggies & fruits. My worst vice....red wine. Quit smoking almost three months ago.

Any help is appreciated!!
