I have found that anything with caffeine aggravates the situation for me. I drink my tea or coffee early in the morning, so it wears off early in the day. I do not drink these in the evening as I am up at night as a resullt.

Keep on track

I'm definitely going to try the 4-6 oz liquid each hour. I've started having "leaking" problems and definitely the sneezing issue. I also get up every 2-3 hrs every night.

I am continuing to walk my3 miles. drinking 10 to 12 cups of water. plus exercise videos. working in the yard plus house cleaning that counts as exercise. I don't seem to have that problem, just the apposite I don't know if it is because I sweat all the time or what. my air is not working right now and I have it dripping off of me. I don't go the br that much.

Those of us in this group may be paying more attention to certain commercials about what can happen if we sneeze, etc. Accordingly, I was seen by a urologist recently. I was limited to 4-6 ounces of water an hour, and happily, the problem seems to have resolved -- and when I asked about the fact that I'm not getting enough water, the man literally "fired" me. He said we would not be working together well, and he wanted me to see someone else. If that's not getting fired, I don't know what it was.

Anyway, I do drink the 6 ounces an hour, and stop around 6 p.m. so my problem doesn't return. So, I can't get as much water as I used to, so how do some of the rest of you handle this?

I made two commitments:
1. Drink 48 to 64 ounces of water a day
2. Exercise a little every day.
Once I made the decision, the rest started to fall into place.
Don't beat yourself up...just do a little something!!! :)

I'm back after longer than I can remember. I had started really well, and then my dratted ankle started back up, and now I'm off the walking I do for my exercise. I'm looking for something else that I can stick to.

In the meantime, I'm rearranging my kitchen and getting rid of stuff I have three-four of. We have a place down the street that takes things like this (Savers) and they are getting bags each week. My husband wanted a tag sale, but it is just too hot for one right now, LOL. We agree to get this stuff OUT OF THIS HOUSE, and we're doing it, one room at a time. Whew.

Don't want to leave a huge mess behind for our daughter to clean up if something happens to us. I was ashamed when I took my husband to our PCP on Wednesday because he weighs about 30 pounds less than I do -- but he's been walking the neighborhood 3-4 miles a day for three years. Brat.

You inspire me. It is so hard for me to consistently exercise. I hate it and always find something 'better' to do. I'll make a commitment and do it for 2 days or possibly a week, then skips weeks/months. All this, when I KNOW how important it is to my health and longevity. It is, I'm sure, my missing link to health and weightless. However, I still can't seem to 'get it together. Maybe I just need to make a real commitment.

I can't even remember when the last time I checked in was, but I'm still here doing what I'm supposed to do! I made a commitment on October 15th to work out every day and did really well until I got a virus the first weekend in June. I had to take a week off after being knocked off my feet by fatigue and the rest of what goes along with a yucky virus. I have a new appreciation for people who struggle with health issues. It was really no fun!!! I got back on track though and still working out an average of 30 minutes per day. There are some days that I can only fit in 20, but I'm okay with that. I like the trophies that come with Spark. If I log my activity I get trophies for the minute milestones that help to keep me motivated. I'm hovering at my goal weight right now and my plan is to keep it there. When I look at the scale I wonder if I can work to get my weight even lower, but I think that's just not realistic! Summer is finally here and there's lots of opportunity to get my workouts in AND get outside and walk walk walk! My knees and feet don't really enjoy exercise too much, so I don't know how long I can keep up with it. Getting old is, well....it's a process! :) I'm grateful for this site and logging my minutes every day to keep me on track. Glad you are all here!!!!
