Have you thought about biking or using an exercise bike. They have upright and recumbant (siting down) ones. That may not put the stress on your hip and give you flexibility and cardio.

Do what works for your body and take things at your own pace.

Hi all its been very difficult for me to walk and its made me sluggish! First off i have a hip issue and then the last 3 weeks I've had terrible cracked bleeding heels due to dermatitis and eczema. That aside the heels are so much better and i can at last put my feet to the floor. Just got to get the hip sorted now. I managed a better walk yesterday but today the hip hurts. Shame because i was doing so well. emoticon
Onwards and upwards though!!!!
