Happy 1 yr.anniversary..even though I'm a little late.

Well as of January 1st 2010 I had lost 26 lbs and was feeling really good about myself.
I then hit a "down and out" time and didnt work out for a while. I picked myself back up and started again, then my basement or "workout dungeon" as I like to call it was completely torn apart to be waterproofed and re-modeled, its been four months since I worked out last.

I decided sunday I was going to start back up this week. sunday I planned out my breakfast and lunches for the week and went to the grocery store to pick up everything. I forgot how much work it was to measure out everything and plan everything, but I felt better just doing that step.

I got on the scale..yeah I've gained back 16 lbs. Unfortunately 11 of it has been since may when my medication got changed. I was really disappointed that I've gained so much back when I've worked so hard to take it off.

Yesterday I started working out again. Wow I've lost a lot of the strength I had. Girl push ups were hard for me, I could only work out 20 minutes when I had been doing 50 minutes before. I'm really sore today but thats ok. I'm determined I will do this it just may take me longer than i thought and I set more realistic goals for myself this time around so hopefully I will be more successful.

I have been struggling all year...have stopped and started several times. I have lost weight and regained and I weigh today the same I did one year ago. emoticon
But I am still here. I do exercise more that I did a year ago (never exercised a year ago) I am not consistent with the exercise but I know how much energy I have when I do.
I know once I find out why I can not stay with my healthy habits, I know I can succeed. There is a reason why I am struggling..something I need to learn...I just need to find the right solution.

Hey it's been one year. I lost 25 lbs and have been attending weight watchers for one year. I have also been keeping up with Spark articles, blogs and message boards. This time I am not seting any lbs goal. my one and only goal is to not gain back any of the 25.

In each tear there's a lesson - makes you wiser than before - makes you stronger than you know. No mistake, no heartbreak can take away what you're meant to be.
