I slept well last night but I want to go to bed too early lately.

Blocker had a good day yesterday and we are hoping she is improving.

It is sunny here and will be nice but return to cold weather today.

I'm absolutely certain that my family had a simpler life where I lived in the 50s. The town I grew up in still has the same population, Things don't change here as quickly as they do in other places. My parents worked days - Monday thru Friday and did not work weekends, weren't on call, didn't work holidays. My mom was the only working mom in the neighborhood. Monday was wash day, Tuesday ironing, cleaning was Wednesday or Thursday, Friday shopping. We spent holidays, some evenings, and weekends with family or with fun activities. We bowled, went to the lake, etc. All of our immediate family lived in the same town. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins. When the phone rang it was almost always family. We seldom ate out. In the evenings a lot of people sat on their porches and later watched a little T.V. We had one phone, one T.V., 2 cars but we were one of the few who in our area who did. When I was in high school only a handful of us had cars to drive to school. We only had one tiny parking lot for students - no need. Some of us had part time jobs babysitting, working for our parents, or as a car hop. Most stores closed at 5pm and not much was open other than a few restaurants, bars, the movie theater and drive-in movie, and a filling station or 2. No 24 anything in our town other than the hospital. Most everything was closed on Sunday too. We were outside most of the day as we wanted to be. Playing on the swing set, riding our bikes, playing games. Homes were not 2000 plus square feet. I didn't know anyone with servants, even rich people. That all came later and with it all came a lot of stress.

We do have fond memories of the way things were when we were young. They definitely were simpler but I sometimes wonder if they really were or if that was just our perspective as children?

Much of the "good life", I think, was because there were so many fewer of us and we all had s-p-a-c-e to breathe! Now there is too much competition for increasingly scarce resources.

I agree about meetings. I wonder how productive they actually are. My cheap boss use to schedule mandatory meetings during our unpaid lunch half hour. We usually left to get lunch and were stuck there starving to death. What a creep.

I don't replace my plastic when it goes bad. I think Pyrex is very highly rated. I have a lot of it.

I agree about meetings! They usually were a waste of valuable time and, as a retiree, I see them eating into my DH's workday regularly. Sometimes that's almost all he does in a day is attend meetings and some of them are simply so the boss can "hold court". Ugh.

Ya;ll have convinced me to start ditching the plastic containers, particularly the thin Glad & Ziplock ones. It will be longer before I replace the "hard side" containers and even longer for the Tupperware. We don't use any plastic in the microwave but I do put them through the dishwasher and can see how that could rapidly degrade the flimsier plastic.

I just ordered some Pyrex containers. I tend to avoid the "less expensive" brands because, as Kim has mentioned, they all still have plastic lids. I want to know I can replace the lids so the containers will "last a lifetime" -- or at least longer than the lids.

I have the problem of being picky and don't like tons of foods that other people love so I prefer to eat where I know what is in my food. I can't stand raw white and yellow onions. I don't much care for tomatoes. The worst for me are things like ranch dressing, sour cream, mayo, avocado, horseradish, hot sauce, etc, and these days they want to put these in everything. That is just a small sample of the foods I don't like.

When I cook "for others" I cook for selfish reasons, so I can eat too. Otherwise, the vast majority of foods cooked by other people, I can't eat. Either too high in fat (and therefore not healthy) or it has onions in it. I am allergic to onions and intolerant of sulfur containing vegetables. Lucky me. So other people's food takes its toll on me.

I am amazed at the amount of work Janice gets through! Way to go, Janice!

I hope to equal your exploits by volunteering a lot for the Master Gardeners this year. They have a Giving Garden in the area that produces easily over 23,000 pounds of food for the charities in the area. It is about the only source of fresh produce they have in the food banks. That would give me a steady 8 hours a week if I can get my sleepy head out of bed and out there. Would also help with exercise, maybe.

Meeting tonight. I do not want to go. Had my fill of meetings in my career.... they are generally a waste of time (for me).

Hoping today sees everyone happy and active! getting things done!

I am with Liz. I prepare 3 meals a day almost 7 days a week and am not looking for more. Where my hubby works they are constantly cooking for some occasion. I refuse to get involved. It just adds to an already hefty grocery bill plus tires me out further.

It is cold here but the sun is out and it is warming up. Blocker was hungry this morning.

Janice, your volunteering and "giving" puts me to shame. You certainly deserve a break from feeding other people every week. They serve dinner once a week at tai chi, also, and the same few people do all the cooking.

They would love more help but I have to admit that no one is going to get me into the kitchen! Cooking is something I must do at home but not exactly the joy of my life! LOL

Do you have to cook all the meals too, Janice? That is a lot of work.

My crows woo me. They know I put out food for them and will come and talk to me. Their voices leave much to be desired but they are loyal.

Cold here We had snow showers. I got the cleaning, laundry, and vacuuming done plus some paperwork. Blocker was not eager to eat this moaning but we got her meds and food down.

Crows and the corvid family in general can be so amazing. Who would think that blue jays are a part of the corvids? Their bright colors sure don't look much like the Crows. I've heard so many stories about crows and the things they figure out to do. And people they take a liking or dislike to. And people call birds bird brains.... not so much.

But Rosy genuinely doesn't like them. I don't know if it is their sound or their size or both. Once I saw her making the rounds of the backyard and at a certain point near the white pines, she would bark ferociously. The first time, the crows went to that tree. Each successive bark, they moved up higher and finally flew away in crowish resignation. Yup, Rosy is a bird dog. I think the birds all know she has intentions, and they are not GOOD intentions toward them.

Chilly Monday here. We are to have snow all week. I think it is supposed to get warmer after that. I am hoping for a slow warmup. Michigan tends to go straight from winter to summer with maybe a week of spring in between.

It is gloomy and 48 here but the wind is brisk and it feels much colder. Hubby and I had to cover our plants as it is suppose to be below freezing tonight and tomorrow night. Blocker doesn't tolerate the changes in weather and didn't feel as well this morning.

I like crows. They are one of the smartest birds.

I hope Rosy is okay. Congratulations on the weight loss. I am holding at 20 pounds down.

This weekend, my former dog club is doing a tracking test. I'm nearly always asked to be a part of this, but wasn't this year. A bit sad, but a part of the process of pulling away from always being committed to doing this event. And it looks like I picked a good weekend not to be invited along. 30 degree weather outside hiking through bumpy farm fields. Glad to miss that.

Today, there is ice forming on all the trees, branches are down, and the yard is steadily turning white. A good day to stay off the roads, oh yes!

Rosy just chased the crows out of the backyard. She doesn't like them at all. Interesting.

I am down a pound and HALF! usually I am only down a half pound. Maybe the increase in walking is helping.

Rosy is still limping a little, every now and then. The mad dash after the crow didn't help. Sigh. Hoping everyone is staying warm and dry this weekend!

We know so much and so little. I was amazed recently to find out they don't know very much about sight. They know the external eye and how that works pretty well. They know quite a bit (not everything) about how the brain works to translate the signals. But how does the information get from the retina to the nerves and how does that translate itself into images in the brain? That part they don't know yet, but are working on.

That definitely tells me how little we still know about the body and how it works.

Fascinating. But sure wish we didn't have so much plastic in our world.

We're now talking about doing more canning this summer. I need to clean the space up so we can do that. We have cabinets for the canned food & Mom used to do quite a bit of cannng every summer. I've done some and have helped her often.

Probably the big thing is to can tomatoes, including sauce and fire roasted tomatoes. We eat a lot of those. and Jams. Start small, finish big? :)

Sleep may be the best thing for Blocker right now. Poor girlie. Hoping for a peaceful weekend for everyone, despite the approaching storm.

I personally believe that there are definite links between our chemical "pollution" and autism.

Dirty air, dirty water, carcinogens in our pre-packaged foods. Things have only gotten worse as we've become more modern and industrialized, living in a fast-food, fast living society. I think that is why "clean eating", "whole" foods, "slow" foods, etc. are becoming more popular. People are finally beginning to understand that what we have been doing is NOT a good thing.

I do hope Blocker improves. It's too bad there isn't a "magic bullet" cure like there has been for my Bandit. It is amazing to think now, that back in January/February, the poor guy could barely walk across a room. Now he runs, jumps on the furniture, takes the steps and anything else he decides he wants to do!

I have read that everyone our age has plastics in their DNA. I'm always trying to get away from chemicals.

Windy here and storms on the way so I may lose power an be MIA. Blocker is about the same. She is sleeping now.

Picked up the glass containers, ran them through the dishwasher and promptly used two of them. I think we're going to like these better. There are some smaller ones so Mom will be able to lift those pretty well.

As for the health concerns and the plastic, Mayo Clinic suggests very strongly that getting away from plastic is a good idea. Some of the chemicals seep into the food. If you run plastic through the dishwasher, you are weakening it and causing more chemicals to absorb into the food. And they recommend never microwaving any plastic, even if if says microwaveable. Oh boy.

There is a place that reviews how the storage containers work out of various types. They recommended Glasslock. Sam's Club has SafeLock. In the article they went on to say that the FDA thinks the moderate amounts that seep into food are nothing to worry about.

Not sure I want the FDA deciding that one for me, so we are disposing of most of the plastic containers. Some we'll use for transport to potlucks, etc. May have to investigate how to freeze food safely. The Glasslock and SafeLock things are both freezer friendly.

My mother's comment was on the lines of wondering if the rise in autism is related to the rise in use of plastic in our society. Do other less "advanced" societies have as much autism as we do? She had an interesting thought.

last year a friend of mine got me hooked on essential oils to heal all kinds of things, and they suggest glass water bottles because the plastic absorbs the oils, I could feel a big difference when I switched to glass drinking jars, I found a BE BURLY mason jar and everyone asks if it's moonshine, I tell em "YEP" and I show them they other side of the jar that says- BURLEYOAK BREWING COMPANY, hehehe I love messing with people, I'll use 16oz jars of marinara sauce and wash them out & use them also for drinking out of, It's not easy to get rid of the plastic use either. everyone have a great night, I have to go put my feet up, my dogs are barking at me, busy day at work .

The reason we went to this group is because our former accountant started to get to where he didn't file our taxes on time. He was my MIL's accountant and didn't file her taxes for 2 years before she died. He kept getting extensions. We wanted to get the estate settled and I don't think he liked how we were doing it. It wasn't up to him. It was my husband's responsibility and mine as my MIL chose him to do it even though he was the youngest and she asked me to help him. His prices were too high too. We now go to the AARP group and get them done for free.

I have just not been replacing mine with more plastic when mine wears out. Some doctors think is is a serious health concern as several substances are in the plastics and that these substances are linked to multiple health problems, not just hormonal problems.

My taxes were done a couple of months ago. We live a simple lifestyle so I am able to do our own with inexpensive tax software.

No Tai Chi tomorrow so I will have to decide whether to tackle some of the kitchen cupboards, work out in the yard or do a bit of both.

I'm not sure how I can get rid of the plastic! I freeze DH's lunch soups in plastic, meats frozen in plastic storage bags, a week's worth of lunches in individual Ziplock entree containers. There is not enough room in the cupboards to switch to glass! emoticon

From what little I know, the worse part about plastic has to do with hormonal inhibitors, etc. in the very young. At 66, I don't think I need to worry about my reproductive system anymore. After all these years, it is probably already too late for any change to make a personal difference!

The good thing is... they ARE done. And you beat the deadline. The accountant hasn't finished mine yet, which makes me nervous. LOL. Oh well.

Its just to do with rolling over accounts from previous jobs into one account with a different company. Thank goodness for accountants for keeping us all in line. Without them, this would be an even more chaotic world than it is.

I was the very last one to get my taxes done this year by this group.

Tally, you are inspiring me to do the whole pantry, not just one shelf! And we get the glass containers tomorrow, so am happy about that.

Plastic is not a good thing for food. My hubby hates plastic in general and doesn't ever want me to buy any.

Rosy has it made. Blocker doesn't care about toys but she loves her bath sand.

Janice, so sorry you're not feeling well. Hoping that turns around for you soon.

Mortica and Janice, I'll do my sock drawer too. It is always a mess, but it is easy to do, and fun to match everything up.

The plastic container shelf in the kitchen has been done, so that's one down!. But then... asked sis about the three large containers she had (microwavable) and she wanted to keep them, but we checked and they are not BPA-free. So two went bye bye. Then I did more looking around to verify numbers of plastic to throw away (3,6, and 7) and found an article about plastics from Mayo Clinic. Yikes. Talked about it, and the family agreed to get rid of most of the plastic and get glass containers instead. Mom can't lift heavy glass, so we need to make sure to get a bunch of lighter ones that she can handle easily.

So I sorted and matched a shelf, and now everything on it (most? maybe not all) is going to go away. But the glass is better anyway. We've thrown away a ton of plastic over the years because we couldn't face the moldy contents & because we knew that the plastic retains odors. So glass will be less wasteful in the long run. Sam's Club has a set on sale, so probably will get two sets of those, with the snap-lock lids (yikes, still some plastic!).

So it goes. Get started cleaning, find out things and end up purging completely... LOL.

So glad Blocker is doing better. It is hard to see our loved furry ones going through this stage. Rosy is doing better too, but wants to chase squirrels. We got a kong toy that has a place to put in treats. You have to turn it over to dump the treats out. She's been carrying it around. Anything to amuse that busy doggy brain...

I think I will do my sock drawer. It's a mess!!!

I just read a book by Colin Dexter and loved it. I am now reading a book by Minette Walters and it's just okay. Not enough mystery, more of a social commentary. Too long.

Blocker was more comfortable this morning and less resistant to her meds and food.

Thank you. We don't have anything as nice as a dedicated butler's pantry but we have a couple of pantries and they are both full. The one is a commercial cabinet one and is specifically for food. The other was supposed to be strictly for kitchen appliances but food ended up in it too. For only 2 people to live here we have way too much food. We need to cut back. I'm moving away from plastic of any kind and switching to glass.

You take good care of Rosy. It's obvious that you truly love her. Lucky girl!!

Starting to clean out all the plastics! We have an overload of it and probably need to get rid of some of it. Probably the odds & ends from previous purchases need to go. Wish we had a real butler's pantry in this house. Would make some things easier!

Rosy is quiet today. Vaccinations yesterday. We are splitting them in half, so that we don't have to slam her immune system so hard. She's a little sensitive.

I may check into doing titers for her. Can't be worse money-wise than the vet bill yesterday. I did buy 12 months worth of heart worm and flea & tick preventative. She's worth every penny and more...

Thanks. Those of us who love animals have to suffer right along with them. It sucks.

Got my laundry done today, the trash burned, and made some chicken soup.

Blocker relapsed and is doing terrible. I felt terrible today too and finally forced myself to get up and get something done. Got most of my outside chores for tomorrow done today and the vacuuming. Not sleeping enough. Not eating like I should. Trying to muscle through. Blocker will have to go to the vet this week if she lives.

I would enjoy the gardening fundraiser. It's a good cause. We don't normally get any snow in April but sometimes we do. The first snow missed us.

Thank you! I feel better now. Still didn't get enough sleep, but the resting helped a lot. I
may have to start taking my own food to these events.

Did manage to finish my smart gardening certificate. You have to renew this each year. It is really worth it to review those principles of being smart with your gardening and lawn habits!

They are also planning for a big fundraiser for the MG program here, and that will be mid-May. Something to look forward to and just about the right time to think about planting, since it is 50% either way of having snow. We don't typically have snow after Memorial day. :) Wonder if it has ever happened!

Glad Blocker is feeling a little bit better. Rosy is too. She goes to GR on Monday the 23rd for an evaluation. Tomorrow is an annual vet visit, which she will not like. :( involves needles.

That salad is one of my top choices at Applebees too. I love those gardening events. They have a nice one here every year. I don't digest onions and garlic real well. I hope you feel better soon.

The snow went north and south of us. We lucked out.

We have found that Blocker sits on the shelf at night and when we aren't home - basically when we are not around. She hides when we are around. She still had a lot of congestion and gas. And trouble breathing but she didn't resist lunch much today. She did supper though. I'm sure she is afraid we will take her to the vet like I did on Monday.

it was 23 degrees this morning. Brrr! did not feel like spring. Unfortunately I ate a few bites of eggs at the breakfast. They had onion in them, and I am allergic. I'm just now starting to feel better. May go up and rest this afternoon.

But the gathering was fun. I'm starting to know more and more people, which is also really fun.

We had a good time at Applebees. Ate the chinese salad, which is usually a pretty safe choice. the number of calories in it (according to something on sparkpeople) made me blink. But I didn't pour the dressing on, so that should cut out a lot of calories. I hope!

Car "broke" down, but I met a very nice tow truck driver and we talked about what has changed in this area since we were kids. He's younger than I am, but was telling me that he'd moved back to Bangor, because Kalamazoo was too urban for him. I'm with that thought! Used to be so many farms and open land when I was growing up.

Car is ok. I probably drove through a puddle of oil or gas dropped by someone else. Better safe than sorry.

Master Gardeners spring gathering tomorrow. They will have vendors. I love buying things at gardening and dog conferences. :) Not that I need to buy things, but you know how that goes.

Hoping all ofyou are well and stepping it up. I am still working on that myself.

The neighbor lady is kind of different. She went to Mexico to have cheap weight loss surgery. That would not appeal to me at all.

LOL. So funny! For years I did 15,000 steps every day and walked up and down the road a lot too. One of my female neighbors commented on it and suggested that the weight loss surgery she had would be easier than what I was doing. ROFLMBO! I was mainly doing it for health. I guess she got sick of seeing hubby and me trotting back and forth in front of her house. Too bad!

The place that does our taxes is letting me come in next week instead. They don't usually do taxes that late. They are really nice. I hate putting it off that late but it will work out best for us.

I think 7 layer salad has mayo in it and I don't like mayo. I would have liked the broccoli too and am glad to see that a kid liked it.

Just got back from our local vet. Blocker's heart and lungs are okay. The problem is gas in her stomach and an upper respiratory/sinus infection. She will be getting gas pills, reglan to keep her guts moving, her lasix and vetmedin heart med, and an antibiotic. She is not out of the woods but at least it's not her heart failure.

Mortica, so sorry to hear about Blocker's woes. Hoping a set of meds can help her feel better. You do sound likeyou have a very busy week ahead. My parents and I just turned in the paperwork for taxes. Mine got complicated by the rollover from previous work places into one account. I think it is best for me to let the pros handle this for me. I have no patience for the fiddly details of taxes.

Janice, sounds like the challenge is going to be well within your capabilities. Even if the neighbors think you are crazy. LOL. I couldn't do it at this point, but am hoping to get to that point sooner rather than later. You really do inspire me.

Easter was a pleasure. Good family times and we saw part of the family we don't often see. I wound up bringing broccoli and poached chicken breasts, so we could stay on the plan. The other family brought things like 7-layer salad (what a fat load!) and bread. Sis brought ribs and desserts. I did splurge on a piece of cheesecake and later ate 3 ribs. Yummy.

Was thrilled that the big basket of broccoli I steamed and then put parmesan reggio cheese on was a hit. There was a middle schooler who said, "Wow, these are great!" and was walking around eating them. Came home with very few left over. There was lots of 7-layer salad left over. Yes, I am being snarky.

Did have to capture one of the little ones and stop her from chasing the little 7 pound dog. Children don't know what they are doing about 7/8ths of the time with animals. They have to be trained. She screamed for mommy, and I said, "Mommy can't help you with this one." I did explain to the parents what was going on. Hope I didn't traumatize her for life. ;)

Celebrating Easter is special for us. We are very blessed in our commitment to Christ. It was a very good day.

MORTICIAADDAMS, sounds like you have a busy week ahead, Hope Blocker is okay. I signed up for a Weekend Warrior Challenge- you have to get 15,000 steps each day 4 Sat & Sun, Sat I had to work at whse/store and my helper was a no-show, so I ended up with a total of 18,279 steps ( that was for the whole day which ended at 11:30 pm) and for 4/1- I had 15,612 steps. I saw my neighbor later in the day and he said "what were you doing?? we kept seeing you walk down the road?" and I told him about the challenge and he said "OH", see it's confirmed they all think I'm nuts..... LOL

I love red and white together. Not a fan much of orange or yellow.

This week is already shaping up to be very challenging. I am gathering papers together to have my taxes done. I think I have most of them but have not had time to verify that and arrange them yet. I have to get that done. I have an appointment to file my taxes and I can't afford to miss it.

Blocker is sick. She is anorexic, has sticky stools, and trouble breathing. So we will be headed to both of her vets this week to check on her heart failure and have dental surgery. That will eat up a lot of my time. Hopefully she will survive. We are busy taking care of her today. Our holidays are often this way so we are fairly used to it and are trying to make the best of it. Due to that I cut back on meal expectations. I made deviled eggs yesterday and ham, roasted new potatoes, peas, and biscuits today. We bought 2 things - a tiny carrot cake we shared and a single piece of lemon meringue pie.

Since my week is looking intense, I have done some of my work I usually do on Monday today - the vacuuming, cleaning, cleaned Blocker's cage, got some bills ready, ran the dishwasher, plus outside chores like cleaning the porches/patios/pavers, burning the trash, taking out the compost. Hubby filled all the bird feeders for me. So tomorrow I will concentrate on getting the laundry done.

We are supposed to get snow tonight and maybe next Saturday. We don't need that! The temps are falling.

I am also supposed to be contacting social security this week about signing up. And it's the first of the month so the bills are flowing in.

I finished the "Nine Tailors" book and enjoyed it, though some of the dialect was challenging. I then read a book "All The Little Liars" by Charlaine Harris. It was a modern book and different. It focused on current societal problems. Very easy read and okay. She seems very food oriented. LOL. I started a book of short stories "The Darings of The Red Rose" by Margery Allingham. I like her writing style.

I have some bulbs to plant when the weather improves - lily of the valley, bleeding hearts, astilbe.

I hope you had a great Easter!

I have the opposite problem. When looking through catalogs, I dogear the pages I want to go back to and possibly buy something. I looked at my White flower farms catalog and had dogeared nearly every single page. So to help me focus better (what a hope!) I started out by thinking what colors would look good against our house and decided to buy mostly red and white flowers. The red looks so pretty against a dark background and really pops.

But there are some yellows and other colors that sneak in. :) Love it!

I plan to buy the big daffodil mixes and plant those as well, and I hope the raised beds in front of the house will be doing well by then. Snow drops and lilies of the valley too... love the way the lilies smell.

We bought some shade loving bulbs to plant in one little bed I have that is getting sparse. All that is left in it is a coral bells plant.I tend to gravitate toward certain colors and plants.

Grey grey day today. I find my energy level dips, but I promise, next week I will dig on those roots. We're thinking of taking out both trees anyway. The one is sick from whatever is going on, and the other is too close to the house. It is a gorgeous cedar, until you look at the places where its been cut away from the house.

One thing I try to do when planting trees is to look up. See if there are power lines there. And there are, right in the healthy cedar.

Just always something to think about and to learn. The plan right now is to plant some dogwood shrubs. They are red branches in the winter and I think it will look really gorgeous against our grey house.

Always fun to think and plan what to do with gardens.

LOL. A tree surgeon at heart. Get to the root of the problem.

Took pictures of some problematic trees on our property and showed them to the MG coordinator. She was fascinated by the pictures of the two cedars we have on the property. Both planted at the same time, the one is easily ten times bigger than the other. I can see landscaping fabric coming up around it and it is tilted. She thinks the fabric is likely strangling the roots or that something else is happening under there. I'm to dig to find out the truth behind this mystery. Cue spooky music. :)

Yikes! Our poodle was like that. She could shred a family of mice in a few seconds. We have to protect the birds at our feeder from the neighbor's cats. Hubby set up an alarm system. They hate it and don't hang around much now.

Poor birdie! but yes, good that the end was quick. Bridie used to catch them, but I think they had flown into the fence and stunned themselves. That happened for just one season and then never again. But she was always hopeful.

Rosy hasn't caught birds yet, but would dearly like to.

I regret to report that there is one less goldfinch in our world. Birdie was on the deck when I took the dogs out. They go tearing ahead of me and Rascal saw the golden fluff before I did and, apparently, before it saw him. At least it was quick. emoticon

Very considerate of you, Janice.

So glad Rosy is feeling good. I would be too with the peanut chicken. LOL.I have not heard of Jeff Abbott.

Sis plays bells and they just gave a performance this past Sunday. I've been to hear them and they do a beautiful job. Their conductor is passionate about the bells and a good instructor. Always fun to watch the men playing the biggest bells too.

Rosy is doing so much better. Glad I opted for the cold laser treatment for her. She is rarin' to go, and is still being leash walked, at least for this week, and possibly for the next week too. We may be trying out the water treadmill. Wish I could use a water treadmill. Those babies are expensive.

Currently reading a book by Jeff Abbott. It is really good. I remember when he was first starting to write. He's SO good. Deserves to be better known.

Last night, prepared South Beach Peanut Chicken. So very good. Every one ate it, Dad went back for 2nds, and I admit I did too. Can't eat any tonight. There's only one serving left anyway. Rosy got chicken when I was trying to transfer the chicken into the peanut mixture and some fell on the floor. She thought it was delicious too. Silly poooch.

More later... I am not awake yet.

I loved it when I played them. The choir director didn't want the kids to be able to play them but our minister over ruled him. He loved kids and knew we would be careful and we were. They sound so beautiful!!

I have the high G, F & F#, it is a lot of fun and it does sound so pretty, we played last Sunday and we nailed it, sometimes we practice and it sounds good and then when we play some one gets a little nervous, but for the most part the Congregation doesn't know what we're playing so it doesn't matter if we goof up.....LOL
