I've been a bit leery about the carbs also, so I don't put fruit in my drinks. I have been researching the GI index and haven't found anything online except a few on carrot juice. I do mostly spinach, kale, and cucumber.

Hi Ladies:
Just popping into say Hi! I have been doing a lot of research lately on juicing and it seems to have a tonne of benefits. I am just a little worried about how it will effect the low carb diet I am trying to stick to for the PCOS. I guess sticking to low GI veggies for juicing would be okay for that? I am not sure!

You will have to keep in informed on how you are doing if you decide to do the juice thing as you said Neelix. I do the juice for breakfast and in the evening. I am not a big supper eater, so it works out better for me to do my meal at lunch time. I got my juicer also last month.

Looking forward to the updates to the team and your blog.

Haven't done a juice fast but have read another sparkmember's blog about a 30 day one. I don't know that I could go that long on just juice but I have been thinking about doing it just for breakfast or lunch each day. I got a juicier in February and have been enjoying the results of the recipes so far with a few exceptions.

Looking forward to the new blog Joeswifey. So what have you found with the supplement research? I haven't been taking much lately. Just a good multi, vit D, biotin, and Mag before bed. To tell the truth, with the juicing I have been doing, I probably have been doing well vitamin wise. I really recommend it. My skin has been outbreak free and glowing. Now if I could only jump start the weight loss more. I've been thinking on going on a juice fast. I usually do a modified fast over lent, but didn't this year. I could use a jump start spiritually, so perhaps I will jump in now and get both areas worked on.
So has anyone here done a juice fast before.

Hello my lovelies! How are you all doing? I have been having a pretty tough struggle lately. I've been trying all these different all natural supplements, etc. and I'm just done.

My skin has gotten worse, I feel like I am inflamed, right now, and really having a difficult time controlling my moods. In my defense, situations are really AGHHHH! right now...but I'm noticing that I'm not handling the stress as well. That's my Que to get back to the basics. Something just isn't right.

So, I'm back to the basics. Re-researching supplements, weight loss, foods, etc. in what I need personally, for me and my body.

How are you all doing? I also ask for patience, as I am revamping my blog, changing it's name, it's content, etc. The link for the new blog will be revealed soon!

Have a lovely day!
