Thank you. I have a couple tops from torrid. I like some of thier clothes (all the ones without the skulls on them.) They are so expensive though. I don't know if that just depends on where you live thought. I know is sounds like I am just nit picking, but I really do appreciate the suggestions. :)

BlueStar, try Torrid.com. They are in some of the malls and I have walked through. Most of the clothes are too young for me though my dh loves their lingerie. It is where I would have shopped a lot if I had found them even 10 years ago!

Hey. I am sorry I didn't get back to these messages until now. Thanks for replying everyone.
I have tried Lane Bryant's but I am not too particular about their clothes. I am not trying to nit pick but even their selection seems to be geared towards older ladies. I know that in time, if I keep making changes, Iwill be able to wear stuff that I love.

Have you tried Lane Bryant? They have nice clothes. I know its hard to wear clothes that make you feel 10 or 20 years older than you are. The good thing? For me I have been wearing the same size clothes from the time I was 20 until now that I am 40. How many other women can say that? I do have a friend that I have know for 20 years. She used to be a model and always had a lot of guys attention for her figure. She married for money and had an ugly baby (looks just like his Dad) and had an even ugly divorce. Looking like a model didn't make her any happier. The attention she got didn't do her any good.

BLUESTAR5 I feel your pain. Life isn't about our dreaded circumstances, its about what we do about our circumstances. I too face the very same issues that you face. I am 75 pounds overweight, have excessive hair (which I shave my face every morning and sometimes in the evening), buying clothes (lets don't go there) and possibly diabeties. I have put off taking care of myself because I kept thinking the disease would get better and so would I. We can't sit back and think that the disease is going to get better, we got to get better. I think you along with myself has woke up and made the right decision to take back a normal life for ourselves. Normal may not be what someone else calls normal but none the less normal for us. Lets workout and lose the weight, eat healthier, do our dreaded beauty maintance on our bodies and just in general take back what this disease has stolen from us. Before we know it we our feeling a whole lot better about ourselves and we will be buying beautiful clothes and wearing them with the confidence while showing off what you can do when you set your mind to it and have the determination not to let it destroy us.
For once in my life I have decided not to let this disease define who I am but embrace the journey laid out before me. With God's strength I will overcome and only with Him will it be successful. Good luck I will be praying and if you need me I will be there. Just started this Spark Team and just started Spark People and I am looking for it to be good support because I am going to need it for my journey LOL! I weigh in and Measure Sunday and I'm excited!

One thing I would love is to actually feel like a girl! A normal girl doesn't have to wake up and worry if there is hair on her face. I think what bothers me most is the stigma of overweight people. You know how it goes. I don't bother to explain to anyone what this syndrome is because they a.) either have no idea what I am talking about even when I explain it, they get this confused look on their face. or b.) They don't believe me. Normal girls don't have to select clothes from the "Old Lady" section of the store!! Just thinking about all of this makes me think of how badly I want to reach my goals. I am not getting anywhere yet because I haven't been consistent but that's about to change. I just got a pair of comfortable new shoes today and I am ready to go to the gym, take walks and do everything I need to do to lose weight. :) I know it's a challenge for everyone but just take things choice by choice and try to be patient. emoticon
