I have never been on happy pills, even though I probably should have been. But I have noticed that the more I keep my PCOS symptoms at rest the less depressed I am, it still pops up sometimes, but not as often.

Have any of you been dealing with depression before finding out you had PCOS?

I started on anti-depressants 3 years ago (around the time I suspect my PCOS really started to wreak havoc on my body in other ways). I am totally dependant on my happy pills even though I hate taking them.

I'm wondering if any of you had success reducing your dose/coming off of your anti-depressants after treating your PCOS.
