Great advice JSender.

Psoriasis is also tenuously linked to high insulin levels, so working on getting those under control through regular exercise, a reduced carbohydrate diet and perhaps insulin sensitisers such as metformin, d chiro inositol, cinnamon, chromium, green tea etc might help also.

I have a website with loads of PCOS info www.mypcos.info Please stop by!

I don't have it, but I have some close friends and family with it... They find that limiting dairy helps, tanning really helped them (just a little bit) or going to a warm dry climate like Mexico or AZ, and a cream called strivectin (you can get it at stores like Sephora, and I think Costco just started carrying it as well.)

Anyone else have issues with this? Did you find anything that helps?

I've tried prescription shampoo and it helped temporarily. I've also tried tea tree oil and that seems to somewhat control it, but not all the way.

I really, really, really, don't want to go to yet another specialist and I'm tired of wearing hats.

Anybody got any advice?
