I had every good intenstion of walking along the beach straight from work.
It never happened, So I came home did a laundry, ironing...I took each ironed piece upstairs one by one...mad I know but it keeps me happy thinking I should have been on the beach.
I then got out my child's dance mat (after i seen it posted somewhere about using a dance mat) I was on there for 15 mins and I was on such a natural high afetrwards it was wonderful

Life is like a roller coaster, take the lows with the highs

I did a 30 min. weight loss program on an elliptical trainer at my local Y. I burned 232 calories. I love ellipticals!

Sounds like you did well sweetorange. I walked yesterday to my doctor appointments. Today I hope to walk around the mall as my daughter has an appointment in Denver. There's a big snowstorm though, so I hope we'll still be able to go!

This is my 3d week after miscarriage i made an exercise program & I try my best:
Mon, Wed & Fri did strength exercise
Every day i try to do cardio at least 20 min & rest one day

Sat: walk
Mon & Tue: worked out 20 min
Wed: walked 60min & worked out 50 min
Thu: walked 2 hrs
Today Fri: worked out 30 min & planning to do another workout section at night for 20 min but I'm not sure I can do it bec I'm going to clean the house:)

Since that last post, I've started having problems with double vision. I had an MRI and there are some lesions on my brain. I go to the neurologist on the 26th to try and find out what it is. Until then I'm supposed to be careful with what I do and don't do any strenuous exercise. I have to be careful because I can't see well and I lose my balance if I'm not careful. So I probably won't be posting much exercise the rest of this month. My husband has said that he'd walk with me, but he's always so busy I don't know if it will ever happen. Sorry for the long post...just needed to vent. Hope you are all doing well!

I didn't do much exercise Friday, but Saturday I went to work and got 5,000 steps in. With all my regular steps and work together, I got 10,000 steps in. Today is Sunday, so I won't do any exercise.

no exercise today. It was Thanksgiving, so we ran around the house cooking and getting things ready for the dinner. I wore my pedometer and got in 6000 steps today.

Wow! That last post was the eighth! i haven't been doing well with exercise other than housework. I've been busy taking care of sick kids though and then I was sick, so it's been hard! I plan on doing a lot this week though, since Thanksgiving is coming up and I need to be on the ball so I don't gain everything back!

so why did everyone quit posting here exercise is the most important thing i usually do 2 workouts a day in the morning i will do a 30 min strength training workout or a SP workout and in the evening i will go for a walk i am up to mile in 15 mins or i will ride my stationary bike for 20 mins. but i am trying to get to 30 mins on it

today thursday nov.2 i did not do any intentional exercise but i picked up pecans with my grandparents and my parents so i was on my feet all day bending and walking and i am so sore its not even funny and i will be doing the same thing tomorrow

I've had a tough time getting exercise in lately due to a missions confrence we are in. I've been walking as much as possible but I've only managed to get 30 minutes in a day. I can't wait to get home and do an hour!

Hey KHardman. I could only do 10 minutes for the first couple of weeks and then I would increase it by a minute or 5 minutes each week.

Today I took the day of so I spent it at the gym. I did 70 minutes on the elliptical, an hour of strength training, and then 40 minutes of the treadmill.

That's good you can do the elliptical. I tried my sisters and I don't think I could even do 10 minutes. I'll have to try again sometime. Last night I walked for 25 minutes, did my strength training and stretching. Today is my day off.

Saturday's are always my big hitter of a working out. I don't do guite that much doing the week. It is also definitly something that I have worked towards. In April, when I joined, I looked at the ladies doing elliptical with a wishful thought. Then I decided to try it.....10 minutes...that was it. Now 6 months later, I am one of those people who can do the elliptical for longer!

I had a really bad week with the exercising, definitely something I need to work on next week. I did work out yesterday an hour on the elliptical trainer. Today I did 90 minutes on the elliptical, 30 of the tread mill and 30 minutes of strength training.

I played with my 20 month old nephew for about an hour. I danced, crawled, wrestled ect... the exercise tracker has it in the database so I'm counting it.

Yet another strength training day. It was more of a personal training thing with the instructor since I was the only student there but I learned a bunch of great moves on the machines. 60 minutes of strength training, 35 minutes of elliptical, and 25 minutes of cycling. I'm starting to get into that and am planning on joining a spinning class on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

I didn't do so great yesterday. I skipped my cardio. Today I did my strength training class (60 min.) and cardio (60 min).

Problems...perplexities...distresses...all serve to remind us of the desperate need of our being in a proper and right relationship to God.

Today 15 laps (20 minutes) and 20 minutes of resistance training... I feel incomplete doing that few laps.. but my calves have been cramping a little sore... so I think I'm doing to much at once...

Today was a strength training day. I did 10 strength training exercises. It took 35 minutes. I'll still go for 2 10 minute walks later when I return books to the library.
