Yes, I have the GI Diet express book and love it.
I found another book called the Revolution of Glucose and PCOS (something to that effect). Taking a trip to Barnes and Nobles this evening to check it out.

Thank you for the website. There are a few kooky websites out there.
Thanks!

Yes. I use the GI Diet by Rick Gallop. I like it because there's not a lot of counting--he puts foods into three categories: red (avoid), yellow (okay in moderation, but not much while trying to lose, more for maintenance), and green (almost unlimited amounts are allowed). You can find information here:

www.gidiet.com/en-us/

I have two of the books: Living the GI Diet (which has tons of recipes) and GI Diet Express.

I know there are other versions out there too. I just like the ease of use with this because I hate counting everything! LOL! But I do now use the Nutrition Tracker here on SP to help me, along with the GI diet info.

Has anyone tried following a GI diet to help them lose weight?
I'm obviously trying to lose weight so we can conceive.
I started sticking to low GI rated foods earlier this week. My energy level has definitely gone up and I do feel better. My daughter shared a couple of her fries with me at lunch today and have felt sick ever since. So it has to be a benefit to my system.
Its too soon to notice a decent weightloss but I'll be anxious to weigh myself on Monday.

Just curious if anyone else has followed this lifestyle.
