SWEETORANGE: your diet plan sounds pretty good for avoiding carbs! I never heard of the full-fat dairy for fertility before, but I googled it, and sure enough that's what the studies say!

Thanks alot IVORY, actually I'm carbs addict! I try hard to reduce my servings to 2 slice of wheat bran bread per day & an apple, eggs at breakfast & green salad with kind of a protien at lunch or steamed veggies, then at night I eat feta cheese with wheat bran bread or yogurt but actually I eat full cream dairy because I read that it helps to increase fertility and I try to conceive..wt do u think of this?

You can make it!

I'm pretty careful to keep my grains to an absolute minimum, 1 slice of wheat bread with lunch and 1 serving of brown rice, whole wheat pasta, or couscous with dinner. I do eat fruit , citrus at breakfast, and something mixed in my yogurt at lunch, and lately dried fruit for evening snack (so yummy, and sweet enough to satisfy a sweet tooth). That's about it when I'm being good. I stick to low-fat dairy and veggies, and chicken/turkey with dinner.

I am! I started on metformin last March, and it was the turn-around in my dieting! Before metformin, I would crash if I didn't eat every 2 hours, even when I was eating good high fiber/high protein food. Now, I can feel like a normal person in between meals, which keeps my calories manageable.
