Sheila did get her new leg and is beginning to walk on it. It is of course very difficult, causing some pain. She is such a trooper though, she keeps right on pushing forward.

Let's all continue to keep her in our prayers.

Hi Everyone,
It has been a busy few weeks. I have been talking to Sheila and PRAISE GOD! First let me share her good news with everyone.

For about the last 5 weeks she has been going to the Orthotics and Prosthetics Specialist getting sized and fit for her new prosthetic or as I have teased her Bonic leg. It actualy has movement all the way down to her ankle!

This is the first leg she has had in the last 38 years! Tell me Prayer doesn't work! AMEN.

Now the rest of the story...the last week she has been under the weather with a terribly sinus infection that has had her head stopped completly up. Poor thing could not hear at all. Both ears were blocked. After trips to the doctor her hearing is returning and her fever has retreated.

Now final on the list...while trying to upgrade her Explorer 9 she intercepted a virus and now her computer is down. So as it stands now until either the virus gets wiped out or her computer...which ever comes first she is off line till then,

She said she has a regular doctor appointment on Wednesday to have her pain meds checked and then to the Walking Clinic ( Prosthetics) on Thursday, if all goes well she will be bringing her new leg home with her. Tell me miracles don't happen everyday!

I know when I think I am having a bad day...I only have to think of this amazing Lady and the inspiration she is to me.She is like a ray of sunshine on a dark and dreary day. Never complaining aways giving.

Thank you God for answering our Prayers for this special Sister.

God Bless you Sheila and we miss you,
Barbara
