I had a relaxing day today and got to sit and read while hubby whatched sports. I am just about finished with "Courting Trouble / Lisa Scottoline.
I also cleared a full shelf of books from my book shelf (books that were read and waiting for a new home) My friend next door was thrilled with the gift. emoticon

I am in the midst of Are You Tired and Wired?, Real Foods Have Curves, and Complete Guide to Women's Running. I just finished Eve by Iris Johansen... loved it. Also, read Toys by James Patterson, good futuristic. Also, I am in the third book of the children's series by Margaret Peterson Haddix, The Missing.

I just got done with the Percy Jackson series and have begun to reread the Harry Potter series. With my particular job, I have alot of time to read, so that's when I get most of it done. I'm a huge Fantasy reader, so most of what I read is based off of that. I think the next book series I will be rereading will be the Stephanie Plum series. I owned the first 10 books when I lived with my parents and through a series of events, my book collection was lost to me. But now I have a Kindle, which makes up for it.

Hi NEWMAC2011--
Glad to see another Anthony Bourdain fan. I have read "Kitchen Confidential", but have not yet had the chance to read "Medium Raw". "No Reservations" is one of the few TV shows I try to watch every week.

I am a HUGE paranormal romance fan and read a lot. I prefer vampires, weres, and fae, but will read just about anything.

Right now, I'm reading "Through the Veil" by Shiloh Walker.
there are none of my prefered subjects, but it does include interdimentional travel, demons (not in my usual preference either) and magick (book's spelling). Great read so far, and I'm almost done.

Reading Fatal Holiday by Judy Gigstad. This is true crime story told by the neighbor of Brenda Andrews. Her "friend" James Pavatt killed her ex-husband as he picked up the children for a Thanksgiving holiday. Brenda Andrews took a bullet to make it seem like something other than a cold-hearted murder.

Lauren Willig doesn't seem to have any other books on my Pima County Library list. I picked it from the audio CD shelves thinking I'd try it.- but nothing else listed. It was really good. It was about a modern day woman doing research into some history of British India - she wove a great story around it - Lady Penelope tricked a Lord into marriage then they went to India. There were adventures, cobra's in bedrooms, spys, and a lot of real history. NOT DULL - Eventually, I'll check other lists on line and see if Lauren Willig has written anything else.

Now I'm on another Nevada Barr - Hunting Season.
