Just started "Memento Mori" by M. Spark. So far it's hilarious, intriguing, and I'm very into it. It's one of those titles that I just snagged at the library during a browsing session, knew nothing about it, and am loving it. I love it when that happens. I sooo need a treadmill so I can read while I walk/run.

I am reading Ten - Laws of Love Set in Stone by J.Johns for the second time (one right after the other) only now I am totally dissecting it! It is a great book! It totally goes deep into the ten commandments and does so from the outside in. It is showing me who I am and making me aware of the little things in life that can make a big difference. I am really enjoying this book!

Am reading a three story Christian novella. I am on the second one right now. The main characters in trhe first two are sisters and the third will be about the son of one of the sisters. I like these books when I want some light reading. I plan on reading a Clive Cussler book that I have had for a while next.

I'm still trying to finish Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyers. It's a great book, I've just been so busy. I would recommend it to everyone. It's a must read.

I have been trying to finish reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows this weekend (I have been tryign to finish it since I had my son July 2007!!), but for some reason I always find something else that I want to read 1st, so I end up putting Harry down for something else. I don't know why because I read the others so fast.

Doing better then me I couldn't get past the first book. But her book "The Host" is one of my favorite SCIFI novels. It was deep enough I don't consider it trash reading.

I am the only person I know that is not head over heals into the Twilight books. I am in the middle of book 4, but only read about 30 pages this weekend. The series is good enough to keep me reading, but the books are not all that great. I will be glad to be done & to move on to something else.

Yup! So far I am about 1/2 way through it. Hard to not pick up, but I have "diet rules". I basically force myself to #1. eat a low cal./ low fat breakfast.#2. Get all my house cleaning done for the day ~ laundry is the exception! Of course, that can take all day if you wash blankets and sheets as often as I do. (once a week) #3. Exercise at least 10 minutes. I have to get back to disciplining myself for that. I really do NOT like to exercise and it is hard for me to force myself. If anyone has a "trick" to get me in the mood for exercising it would be appreciated! And...I just finished John Grisham's newest ~ The Associate. Not one of his best but still very good!!He's my fav. author. I even have a pomeranian named Grisham! She's the red one in my profile! And if you check it out, yes, she really is smiling for her picture!!

Just finished Vendetta by Fern Michaels one of a series about a sisterhood group of women who act as justice servers when justice has not denied by various means. I will be looking for more of the books in this series. Jury and Payback are two of them. Now reading a vampire story by Lara Adrian "Ashes of Midnight". Got the last two volumes of the Black Dagger Brotherhood from Amazon, by J R Ward. They will be next.

I read the last Twilight book "Breaking Dawn." I hated the way the story was going after the first few chapters and hadn't touched it for a month. My middle schoolers are so into the books that I had to suck it up and finish it. It turned out to be entertaining and I finished the book the same day!

Hi All,
I'm reading "Aging With Grace" by Dr. David Snowdon, PH.D. It's a study, spanning several years, of Alzheimers in a Convent. In such an environment, everyone eats the same food, at the same time, sleeps pretty much the same amount of hours, works at the same jobs - basically they live identical lives. What better atmosphere to study such an insidious disease?? That's the major hurdle for finding any kind of "Help" for Alzheimers-it affects everyone differently because everyone lives such different livestyles. In a convent the nuns live their lives exactly alike. The book is a fantastic read and very enlightening for anyone who knows someone or has a loved one with Alzheimers. My Lovely Mother died of this after 13 years of suffering, in March of 2005. In August of 2005, the love of my life was diagnosed and now has to be confined. This book has given me a sense of peace. Thank you for letting me ramble on. Kip

Just finished book 5 of the black dagger Brotherhood books by J R Ward. Realized I had missed the first one, Dark Lover and ordered it and the #7 of the series from Amazon. Current book is Lover Enshrined. Then I have to wait for the books from Amazon to finish the series. I bought a bunch of Harlequin Desire Series at a yard sale for 10 cents each and don't care for them at all. Straight romance and not much plot to any of the 3 I read.

The Patriot Witch by C. C. Finlay. I found this by accident, and am enjoying it very much. Oddly, the main witch in this story is a man.

RedHotMama, I adore Clive Cussler! I, too, have read almost all his books!

I am reading Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. It is for my book club.
Also, I will finish The Story of Edgar Sawtelle - only about 50 pages to finish - travelled this week with work and didn't want to have to pack another book to read on plane.
