Paty,
I would say the same thing... you will have to use your knowledge to avoid those things that are high in fat. Look at how the food is prepared (try to avoid fried) and make healthy (saludable) choices related to portion sizes.

Regarding buying raw foods, make sure that you ask someone advice about the safety of the foods and the water in which you wash them. When I was down there in 2007, the lady of the house in which we were staying was very adamant about us avoiding buying food on the streets and only trusting her to correctly wash and prepare foods.

Having said this, disfrute el viaje, y diganos como le va!

In what part(s) of Mexico are you traveling?

Hi Paty. I don't know the calories you are looking for, but I can give you one advice: portion control.

You can eat many things, but don't eat a lot of each! Sample items so nobody has to tell you how they taste like, but watch your portions...

Enjoy your vacations...

Hola...

Necesito ayuda antes mi viaje a Mexico.

Paty
