Weekend of September 25 - 27

Leane, South Dakota is awesome, though. Spend more time in the southwest corner, and it will be worth dealing with Norht Dakota. I still have to get to Iowa and Nebraska. And they can't be my last two states, because I don't want to celebrate the 50th state in either one of those places!

Didi, if I can do a full marathon, so can you. I did mine in Alaska in 2000 because I knew it would take me forever and I figured I'd have nice scenery there, LOL! Are your "want to have" shoes Dansko, too?

My weekend finished with a good morning at my sister's horse show, and a good day of work.

Believe me, I have no desire to go to North Dakota. I'm just trying to complete all the states.

Had a great time at the wedding!

Now I'm watching the Yankees/Red Sox game.

DRC, shopping therapy ia wonderful!!!....sigh.....are we looking at the same pair of shoes??/ My "I want that pair" has the same price tag!!!!

The Vegas run maybe my first FULL marathon!!! I'm terrified to actually say this out loud....this is the first time I've even typed it!!!

So now I'm thinking that I should get a walk in today at the very least.

Today was about retail therapy. While spending as little money as I could. So mostly window shopping. But I tried on these great shoes--Dansko? They were very confortable, but still looked good. And they are still in the store, with the $120 price tag...

Actually, this morning, I went to my neighbor's and scrubbed her deck. It was about an hour of exercise before the rain came, and I had promised her I'd do it for her (she has a bad back). So good way to start the day.

I was afraid to do nothing, the way my mind was going. *grin*

Leane, that sounds like my kind of trip. I am only missing 4 states, and you have 2 of them on your list. however, I am not sure I ever need to go back to North Dakota... I've got five provinces and one territory for Canada already, LOL.

Didi, great excuse for a trip to Vegas! What kind of run will it be?

I just spent the entire evening mapping out a 10 state road trip: NJ to MI, WI, IA, MN, ND, SD, NE, MO, IN, KY and back to NJ. I'm super excited about this and am planning it for early summer next year. After that I will have 16 states left to complete them all. (Then on to all the Canadian provinces!)
I did some dishes and bought a nail polish for a quick pedicure tomorrow. The wedding ceremony is at 3:30 tomorrow so I'm gonna call it a night.

DRC-spend tomorrow relaxing!!!

I don't know what to do with myself right now. I am somewhat in a funk, and don't know what to do to keep my mind occupied.

I know that Sunday morning I will be going to my sister's horse show, and then I have to be at work by 3 pm on Sunday. The start of another busy week at work. But tomorrow is wide open, and I am at a loss about what to do. Suggestions?

Well tomorrows my last long run(20kms) before the race then it's taper time:))

I'm having a great time with food. No junk at all!! I'm on such a roll. ... but you know Thanks Giving and Christmas is around the corner and there's that big heave ho to keep my appetite under control....so i'm enjoying the GOOD TIMES...hehehe...

I also want to shoe shopping. Need new dress shoes this Fall. I saw a pair today that caught my eye!!

Hey everyone. TGIF!
I'm just starting the thread and then I'm going to post again with my weekend list. I have off Monday too. (Love the Jewish holidays at work.) Brief weekend overview: tonight going to try to get as much cleaning done as I can, tomorrow I have a wedding to go to, Sunday and Monday hanging out with my best friend. Not sure where we're gonna go or what we're gonna do, but I'll come up with something. Be back later with my list.
