I change it up, almost daily.... so when 'something' happens I just do something else! I try to keep my world in balance, 80% of the time. It works for me!

Here is what I am about, today: 9-15-15 I feel my life is what I bring to it. emoticon emoticon I try to focus on good feelings, 80% of the time, I usually reach about 60%. A smile emoticon can change my whole outlook in a second! How about U? emoticon My Mom-in-law went to hospital, yester. She'll get out today, tests showed nothing wrong. She's 94, so her daughter thought her symptoms were serious enough to call 911. She's ok, now, THX God! emoticon

I've thought about this since the first time I saw the question.

I've decided that I would now say, "One day at a time".

I have learned that when I do anything any other way, I don't do as well.

Good luck

Well, it depends on what the streak is. My exercise goal is 120 minutes per week. I don't do sick, but have a busy schedule, where I can have long days, getting home too late to exercise. So, in 4 or less days, I can get at least my 120 in. On a good week of not having a lot to do, I can get in more.

I have had problems with my knee, but I've never stopped exercising because of it. It actually releases natural pain relievers in the body, when you walk. And I make adjustments to my movements if necessary with exercise DVD.

So, do what works for you.

I exercise regardless. If my knees hurt, I will do upper body or chair exercises. Lately, my feet have been aching, so I've been doing resistance band exercises and other chair exercises.

Hope this helps you! :D

I have been here 6 years . At one point I had to have shots in my eyes and could not see well. I hooked my arm around my daughters and walked the block. I have missed streaks for the flu , or a bad cold. Now I have a frozen shoulder but go to physical therapy , and I walk every day or try to no matter what the weather. sometimes you need to end a streak to heal your body and just go on and start from there . No one is perfect , no one is ever not sick , or have to take care of a family member that is. a couple times I forgot to log at all . It's all good , what ever you can do is good for your body streak or no streak ,

Depending upon what the illness or injury is, I would change my exercise up and do a different type of exercise. There are chair exercises and the sort that you can do to keep your streaks alive. Or if you have a bad knee maybe work on upper body exercises.

I was in bed with flu yesterday and ruined my 10 minute streak (as the spark coach program reminded me) that I'd had going for the last 7plus weeks ... I've seen people with very long streaks and wonder how that works with things like injuries and illness? do you exercise anyway?
