My goal is by my birthday next year--my 45th--I want to lose 50 pounds. My end of 2012 goals, though, are to be a healthier eater, to attend my twice weekly exercise class most times of the month, to walk and do strength training exercises otherwise, to lower the stress in my life, and to impart more happiness and warmth to my family.

Because I struggle so much with getting movement into my life, my goal for 2012 is to exercise 10 min a day, Spark Buy's 10 Minute Fitness Club suggests. To do that will be a good start for me. My mid-term goal is to exercise 30 min a day for 3-5 times a week. My long-term goal is to do 30 min a day 5-7 times a week.

My goals for 2012 are to walk five or six fourteen minute walks a day to do something called active minutes every two hours which is good for people with bad circulation or a blood clot like me. I also want to eat more home cooked meals and less restaurant or takeout food adding up to fewer calories to lose half a pound a week at a slow but permanent rate. Besides that I want to shop at the grocery store and eat a cheap lunch at home. Slowly I want to add more fruits and vegetables into my diet starting with portable and easy to grab fruits and vegetables that don't go bad in the fridge quickly like individual sized servings of fruit and baby carrots. I blog daily and I have started a new team called Time Management and Organization Productivity Fans which is about getting your act together. Look it up under time management as a query. You are welcome to join.
On the diet Extreme Transformation and carb cycling, with additional emphasis on increasing fiber grams to 35 g/daily and lowering fat grams daily.

My first goal is to lose 4 pds a month for 3 months. thats 12 pds by the end of December. 2nd goal is to get back to working out for 6 days a week.

Hi All.
I haven't posted here before. It's interesting to read about everyone's goals for this year. My goals by the end of the year are: To get my weight down to 130 pounds Exercise at least 20 minutes 4-5 times a week, cardio, strength building and stretching - always stretching. To bring in more fun activities in my life - to play more.

I met my 2012 goal which was to weigh in at 150lbs. Now I want to weigh in at 136lbs. by my birthday this early November 2012, and 130lbs. before the year ends!!! :-)
I will do what it takes to be FIT before I turn 30!!!

From now till September - I hope to lose at least 15 lbs.
Goals: -exercise 6 days a week with one day to rest on the Wii - Exerbeat, Wii Fit Plus, and The Biggest Loser. -Drink everyday - I have a tumbler and always fill it up with ice. -Run another 5K -Walk more than 15,000 a day or keep moving daily if I get so busy and don't have time to exercise. -Eat more veggies and fruits.

Goals for the last 6 months of 2012.
- Exercise at least 10 minutes everyday (I am on day 46 on an exercise streak) - Loose 25-35 lbs (goal weight is 225, probably will end up between 230-235) - Drink 8 glasses of water every day Mountain time- New Mexico (GMT -7)

These are my SparkPeople goals for each day - and when I turn on my computer there is my reminder!! The hardest one for me is drinking the water - have never liked water - and still don't. Have tried all the suggestions like adding a slice of lemon (which does help a bit). But I am working on it. Bought my self a beautiful glass and that does inspire me - a little!! Get down to 234 lbs from 264 lbs. Get down to size 16 or 18 slacks. You have a choice, you can throw in the towel or you can use it to wipe the sweat off your face.

You can do a virtual hike on AmericaontheMove.org, and log your steps each day and virtually trek though Alaska or from Mexico to Canada, or through the Rockies, etc. Check it out! AmericaontheMove.org

My goals for 2012:
1) Exercise 10 minutes daily - my goal is to get back to exercising regularly, so I start with this goal! 2) Go to gym twice a week (once on my own or with my mom and once with my exercising team, gym has answered to our need for "group personal training", there's a team of ten women from 39 to 79 years old and we have our own bootcamp, 55 minutes, every Thursday with our teams personal trainer) 3) Eat better! I tend to eat "whatever", meaning not that healthy, forgetting all about vegetables and fruit... That will change! My goal is to eat regular meals, not to snack all the time and remember to but that fresh stuff on my plate, too! 4) As a Christmas present for myself my waist measurement will be 80 centimeters (now 92,5cm) to prevent health problems as I have gene mutation that adds the risk of blood clots. According to doctors 80 centimeters is a safe waist measurement and I should aspire for that - and I will! 5) With all these four other goals I will accomplish this fifth goal: Being happier and more content with myself - when my health gets better and I become more fit, that helps me to fight stress and melancholy. Better mood, here I come! You are never given a wish without being given the power to make it true.

I'm setting reasonable attainable goals and striving to better them. I lost 42 pounds last year and am working back from a little injury. Doing good, today I had my over all meals ...it was real good...it consist of fish and shrimp and plenty of veggies.
So it was good and going to make the rest of the week the same way. Stay alive and lets make our healthy life style work for us.
