I have lost 75 lbs on SparkPeople since I joined in January, 2008. I still have 19 to go. The program has been the main support system for me losing the weight. I find the nutrition and fitness trackers to be invaluable. I belong to several teams who have been supportive. I would be more than happy to be interviewed even though I am a University of Utah graduate and supporter, arch rival of BYU!

I have been with Sparks People about 3 years. The tips and advice I have recieved, have helped me lose 15 lbs and keep it off, The sparkers, have helped, and I enjoy my team friends. Making and attaining goals have helped, as food tracking and exercise tracking.

I've lost 30 pounds in the last year, thanks very much to this site and the SP community. I've lost over 60 pounds over the last several years. Went from sedentary to a 2x half-marathon runner. I'd love to share my experience!

Haha this is funny to me, only because my husband was featured on a very different segment for BYUtv recently.

I'm not sure what you want to know, but since I've joined SparkPeople I've lost 67 pounds and counting! There's no way I would have been able to accomplish this without SparkPeople. It helped me maintain a healthy pregnancy, make some new real-life friends, and achieve my weight-loss and health goals. I LOVE this website and I share it with people all the time. I'm excited that BYU has taken an interest! (It's my Alma Mater).

Thanks! :)

I lost 78 pounds with SparkPeople and I've gained most of it back because I didn't make a PERMANENT lifestyle change; I'm back because I know the support here is an essential component to success. I'm practicing the EAT TO LIVE lifestyle and feeling healthier and happier every single day.

This is Bruce Corwin, head of public relations for SparkPeople. We are very excited that BYUtv is interested in doing a segment about SparkPeople. They are looking for success stories to feature in on-camera interviews. The topic is how the power of online community can help people change their lives and achieve their goals, weight loss and otherwise. If you have achieved goals on SparkPeople through the power of the community as an active member, or are well on your way to doing so, please post on this thread, and I may very well get back to you by SparkMail. They are looking primarily for Utah residents. Many thanks.
