I'm going to start a Walking Challenge in the "Challenges" forum.

You will set your own daily goal, i.e. steps, distance or time. Whether you share your goal with the team is your choice, the main goal here is developing consistency. So you can choose to just post an emoticon indicating that you met your personal goal that day.

I'll set it up so you can check in daily if you like, or just catch up when you have a chance to post.

I have also re-started my fitness plan for the new year. I started on the 29th because I had gained some weight over the holidays and figured why wait til January 1st to start again? I have decided to walk 1/2 hour 5 days a week. My walking partner has hurt her foot and needs surgery. Please pray for her, her name is Connie. Thanks.

Starting a 40 day plan - the SP website is so excruciatingly slow - and I spend too much time on the computer anyway.

It can all be very stressful can't it... so perhaps more important to fit some exercise in?

I hope to come back and watch it. WE all need a fresh start in the new year. Many of us lack consistency

In my case, I have become a partial caregiver and we will be moving. Anyhow, that means that I'm trying to catch up. I'm glad that many activities are suspended until into January. Actually, it may turn out... I won't go to my 2 bible studies, until some things are in order. I still will have other things I have to do, but I probably can't keep up with that, and the other things.

We are STILL waiting to see if and when we move. In other words we are waiting for the go ahead and clearance since the end of September. Really, the only deal is, if for some reason we don't get n there, we need enough time and money to find something else. That's the part that particularly is bugging my husband.

I'm with you both on the cleaning and de-cluttering etc.

I watched a couple of Joyce's online videos the other day. Just "happened" to check her site at the right time. The videos were called "Your Body is God's Home". You may still be able to watch them on the following links.

Well anyway, the point is that watching that kinda woke me up a bit, and I want to put some of her suggestions into practice. I'm going to start on Wednesday when things get back to normal after Christmas, by walking 1 hours each day. Joyce said she did this, and over 6 months she walked 950 miles, and lost 17 pounds just by making that one change

I'm doing a sort of spring cleaning... kinda more frustrating.We have to move and we have lived here for 33 years. The place is smaller.

I have been doing fall cleaning, and I have way too much stuff...anybody relate?? I am sure that most of you can! Have been managing to keep my weight about the same, but it is not without a struggle...Blessings to all of you today!!
