I have the opportunity to read many wonderful books because I am completing a masters of divinity along with bile study immersion. We are required to do a series of classes for faith and spiritual development and those are for our personnel development. Aside from that, I have read Battlefield, one of the best books I have ever encountered and just so true, also, Praying God;s Word and her two devotionals beginning and ending your day.

Reading is a hobby of mine and I also read Christian fiction as a way to practice and maintain my speed reading abilities. I believe reading enlarges one's mind and offers an opportunity to experience life fully. Hubs and I never leave home without a book on our person, so if we have downtime, we read and talk about what we are reading as well. Great topic and thank you. emoticon

I have started to prioritise Bible study (rather than Bible reading) at the moment, as Joyce suggested in one of her free website programmes recently. But a book that really has inspired me this year is "I Dare You: Embrace Life With Passion." The intro encourages us all to be determined to fulfill our purpose, and that's what I intend to do. I've spent too many years just drifting, doing what other people wanted me to do.

I have a number of her audiobooks which I like to put onto my mp3 and take her with me when I walk - I don't really enjoy the walk, but the teaching makes the time go quickly. I also sometimes download from the website to mp3

I have Battlefield of the Mind in my Joyce Meyer shopping cart (just need to complete my order). One book I have that I want to read is Secrets to Exceptional Living: Transforming Your Life Through the Fruit of the Spirit.

Reading books other than the bible usually take a back seat to worship services and biblical learnings through Christian radio and television . . . I'm pretty much a multi-media girl. I bought the bible on CD (64 CDs from the NIV) so I could have the bible read to me when I want to be spoiled or meditate at a nearby babling brook or waterfall (at a nearby state park)

I sometimes listen to Joyce's TV ministry two or three times before they fall off the availability shelf online.

I have read her book "The Power of Simple Prayer" teaching you how to pray which was really helpful and good, and I'm trying to read 2 other books of hers. I got "Look Good, Feel Good" which gives you small steps you can take to lose weight and get healthier, and also Battlefield of the Mind. And I'm trying to read passages of the bible everyday too. I need to slow down a bit maybe but I do love reading. Has anyone else read any books by her?
