Joyce says that, “Due season” is God’s season, not ours. It has motivated me to ask God to be in the driver's seat of my life today, not me.

Give more thought about all the fruit Jesus Christ gives us. We all begin our faith walk with a measure of all these beautiful fruits, and it is up to us to call upon them, grow with them, and add even more value to that which God so greatly loves.

The Fruit of the Spirit include: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Jesus share these in the way he lived his life.

Gentleness also includes humility and meekness. "Meekness is not weakness; it’s strength under control." -- Joyce Meyer

Matthew 11:28-30 (AMP)
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will [a]ease and relieve and [b]refresh [c]your souls.]
29 Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest ([d]relief and ease and refreshment and [e]recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.
30 For My yoke is wholesome (useful, [f]good—not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne. (Matt 11:28)

1 Peter 5:5-6 (AMP)
Likewise, you who are younger and of lesser rank, be subject to the elders (the ministers and spiritual guides of the church)--[giving them due respect and yielding to their counsel]. Clothe (apron) yourselves, all of you, with humility [as the garb of a servant, [a]so that its covering cannot possibly be stripped from you, with freedom from pride and arrogance] toward one another. For God sets Himself against the proud (the insolent, the overbearing, the disdainful, the presumptuous, the boastful)--[and He opposes, frustrates, and defeats them], but gives grace (favor, blessing) to the humble. (6) Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you,

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. (Phil 2:3-4)

Colossians 3:12
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Humility and pride are seen best in how you treat people.
Give respect to ALL people.

And I do believe that if we remain faithful in the mountain top experiences, we have far fewer valleys.

One of my favorite bible passages is: “Be joyful always; pray continually; [and] give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for [me and] you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thes 5:16-18)

She inspired me to know that its in the valleys of life that you grow spiritually, not the mountaintops.

To learn how to develop the Fruit of the Spirit God gives us: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control.

One of the worst mistakes we can make is to be proud of what we can do. – Joyce Meyer
And then we ramp it up another level and we get an attitude about other people who aren’t good at what we’re good at. – Joyce Meyer

Be obedient in your giving. Joyce heard God (in her wisdom) tell her, “Once I tell you to give something away, it no longer is anointed for you. If you keep it, you’ll never enjoy it. “

I also remember taking to heart how important it is to release your faith with all that you give. God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Corinthians 9:7)

Joyce has motivated me to take a look at people differantly. She sends gifts to her enemy's ! I think that's cool, but I am not quite there yet. But I can pray for them to be blessed with all there dreams come true ! Not that I have alot of them mind you, but I am a costumer service rep for a very busy Hospital/clinic and so I get all the complaints and I get hollered at at least once per day. So somedays ..........I just sit back and pray.; )

I get a few Joyce-isms delivered to my Facebook page from Joyce Meyer Ministries:
:
-- Every time you open your Bible is a chance to hear from God.

-- Worry increases pressure; prayer releases peace.

-- If you feel alone, I want to assure you that you aren’t. God has His eye on you all the time, He is your Keeper, and He has promised to never leave you or forsake you. God is with you right now!

To displine myself better. I always like it when she says "Some people say well, if I see one cookie I have to eat 20. And that we have the power of the holy spirit, we can surely have authority over a little cookie!" Lol. I love her sense of humor too, but she does make a good point. I'm starting to learn that I am in control of ME and I can't be a slave to my cravings.

I trust Joyce because I see a woman who the master has carefully crafted from her younger days to now and that is what motivates me to be complete in Christ.

ACTIVEGRANDMAP and friends: Joyce is continually speaking to me in the area of offense and the mouth. It’s unfortunate that so many of us well-intentioned Christians get hung up in this area and hold grudges for something relatively insignificant that happened twenty years ago. Then there’s the murmer, grumbling, and complaining that all-too-often follows . . . Joyce continually reminds me how sinful these behaviors are.

Praise God for the inspiring Joyce so beautifully. She is truly an instrument of the Lord with a keen sense of practicality and humor that can touch all our lives positively.

Ehagfeld~ I feel the same way. God has truly anointed Joyce. Watching her every morning at 6:30 am, after my time with the Lord, has been some of if not the very best message's from the Lord I have ever heard. She is always spot on for what is happening in my life that day or week or situation. Sometimes I have wondered if God uses Joyce to give individual messages. like we might be watching her at the same time , but she is telling me one thing and you another. It is mind blowing !.Listening to her has really brought me into a much deeper relationship with Jesus and I am so grateful for her anointing. Today I am going to listen to Joyces message and Love out Loud ! and I pray that all my friends on FB will lose the weight that they need to ,to be healthy and happy !

Joyce touches me in ways I have a hard time to express. Just last night, I was listening to one of her programs from the week after Christmas (available online), and it was a the message of hers where she reaches out to her audience to remind us how LOVED we are in a way that has an even greater impact than most messages. It's almost like she pointed right into your heart to tell you that you are loved. It was apparent that I needed to hear this message, as its impact -- a few years ago -- was a revelation in my life at a time when my head may have understood unconditional love, but she allowed God to burn it in my heart.

As such, she helps keep me grounded in the Word, which in turn helps me share that Word with others. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to provide devotion and prayers with two mission groups.

During the holidays I was hurt several times by someones snapping replys. I was all set to write this person and tell her how much she hurt me. But after watching Joyce one morning, I decided to just e-mail her an appology for anything I had said that offended her. She wrote back and said she was sorry for snapping and so now she is aware of the feeliings I have without having to confront her or hurt her feelings. Pam

Joyce often says we need to study the Bible for ourselves, not just read it or listen to Joyce. So today I read the book of James and tomorrow I am going to start studying it.

What has Joyce motivated you to do recently?
