Thanks so much! I have momentum for a day or so then I...well......trying to stay positive! Don't want to keep saying what a failure I am as I become what I focus on! I need to breathe and make a plan. Why do I keep getting stuck? Why do I not feel like I deserve success? Why indeed!

TEACH4110, I think I know where you are coming from. I, too, am at the highest weight ever, dealing with grief and settling Dad's estate (complicated). In addition, I have been battling depression and dealing with abuse issues the past few years. "Overwhelm" has been a big one for me and can easily paralyze me. I have to keep telling myself to do just one thing because one thing done is better than just getting stuck in "I don't know where to start." I'm going to keep trying, and I hope you will, too. Be good to yourself because you're the only you there is! emoticon

I had a thought for - God always delivers on the promises. We have to look at the whole picture and know that this is part of the journey. If we beleive God, we will accept what God allows, but know that you are never in a situation where God does not provide a way to be closer to him.

I agree with the previous comments. I am starting over, too. Just because I have gotten completely out of balance.

Know that you have my prayers.

Start each day with prayer. Bring all of your troubles to the Lord. Ask Him what next step He would have you take that day. When you are stuck, just do 1 thing that He has brought to mind. Then, if you are up for it, do another. Whether it's a short walk to get started, planning some healthy meals for the week, or just substituting a healthy snack for an unhealthy one.

Remember to thank Him for how far He has brought you & sustained you.

These are all things I remind myself to do, so I hope they are helpful to you. Use whatever you want, & ask God's guidance in every step. He love you so much & wants to bless you!

You are precious in God's sight. God knows all about your troubles, your pain and especially your grief. As WebSame said, take it to the Lord and prayer. Be gentle with youself and not angry. You are never alone, although I know you are feeling that, you are not. I have prayed that God gives you peace. Start to move, just walk down the street, you will feel better. Eat healthy one meal and just know that you will feel better. God Bless you

Take it to God, I'd go to HIM with this series of problems. God can heal your wounds, self doubt, and help you. Find a good church that teaches from the Bible and that isn't afraid to talk about ALL the topics of life.

Other than that, I would say start by taking one step forward, because the journey of 1,000 miles begins with ONE STEP.

Good Lord. I am at my highest weight ever, am coming off a recent unexpected death of a sibling, have a hip/leg injury and am recently diagnosed as having celiac disease and have to be casein (protein in dairy products) free.

But other than that......I'm fine:-)

I don't know where to begin so I have been wallowing in self-pity, fear, grief, and disbelief. All of this has gotten me to feeling just yucky, yucky, yucky.

I want to BREATHE! And begin again.

Any help would be appreciated!

I have recently gotten back to meditating in the morning. I used to exercise in the a.m....when to find time to do it all? I sit paralyzed and do nothing....

I am feeling SO overwhelmed.
