Hi sorry i havent replied until now i was away in germany for a few nights :) Im thinking of dropping the orange juice its just that i have IBS (irratable bowl syndrome) and iv stopped taking my meds as i piled on the lbs and couldnt shift them while still taking them and was adviced by doctors that one glass of orange juice a day would stop me needing my meds.. so if i drop the OJ i have to start taking my pills again and i think that maybe this is a better option weight wise? Im back in induction now even though i was only on around 25 grams of carbs a day and induction is just 5 grams less but hopefully it makes a difference :) thank you all for your comments :) x

Perhaps you could try and do the induction phase again. You might have reached your set point in the amount of carbs it takes to maintain your weight in which case you would need to drop down on the carb intake.

I hope this helps, good luck to you in your journey.

I didn't put weight on overnight and it won't come off overnight either.

I hate to say this, and it may not even apply to you, but have you tried eliminating the OJ? Speaking from my experience, juice, even fresh squeezed stalls me out badly. My body is just too sensitive to sugar. Just a thought..... emoticon

What about those inches you are losing? You can't always judge weight loss by lbs. So much more goes with it. I'd lay a bet that your clothes are getting loser and loser...

I've been living the atkins way for around 6 months now and have yet again (i think) come to a plateau. i eat a maximum of 300 grams of certain veg a day (atkins books are my bible) and i onli drink water with the exception of a glass of fresh orange juice with my breakfast (saves taking vitamin c tablets ontop of my other supliments). I excersise regularly, at least 4-5 times a week and yet i am still not loosing weight in lbs or cms. Does anybody have any tips or excersise ideas that i could try? x
