Wow! If they are swollen, wrapping them is probably not the best thing. I would say ice and elevation. Wrapping is going to cut off the circulation and cause more problems. Great job on the 7 miles and swimming, but be careful of ramping up too quickly. Usual rule of thumb is no more than 10% increase in speed or distance per week.

Well Saturday 16th I ran / walked 7miles! I didn't work up to that many miles I usually do like 2 miles at the max but I decided to do 7 miles that morning so sunday I rested then Monday nite I decided to swim laps 78 to be exact which is 1.2 miles and used my flippers too but I ended up w swollen ankles and prob made it worse what I did to them last nite which was put tiger balm on them an wrapped them very tight and then put on my ankle braces on both and it was actually cutting off my blood circulations then I took it off and this morning when I was at work I noticed they were worse than last nite before wrapping them! hope I can get back to running soon I just cant remember is it ice first or heat first? OMGIES :( And ive hit another weight loss plateau again but want to keep exercising but at the same time get this ankle situation taken care of at the same time.
Thanks in advance for any advice or recommendations.
Thanks
Lu
