Just have to say that Lululemon stuff is the best!! It's expensive, but it certainly holds up and wears great.

I got a pair of shorts! emoticon
I found a jacket that I liked on final sale for $119. Bright pink with lots of reflective, perfect to be seen! They had other jackets on sale but they were more like hoodies. I believe they classify it as a jacket if the pockets zip, I'm guessing.

So I didn't find the jacket that I wanted that was listed on the web page, but grabbed a few other items. Tried the jacket on and it made me look like I had a bubble butt! I worked hard to lose my weight and keep it off, the last thing I want is a jacket emphasizing something I do not have! bummed out.

The shorts fit perfectly and were way cute and $4 more than my gift certificate, so I bought them and will look for a running jacket with a friendlier price tag!

Thanks for all the comments!

A girlfriend of mine bought me a Nike running jacket a few years back... At first, I didn't think I'd get much use out of it, but I've got to tell you, it has become my favorite thing ever. Super lightweight, with reflective pipingdown the front, along the sides and down the arms. What I love best is that, because I always get hot when I run (no matter how cold it is outside), it zips both from the top and the bottom... So, when I get too warm, I unzip it from the bottom about half way just to get a little air flow, but I still have the windbreaker function of it. LOVE mine! I think that's a great way to spent your Lululemon $$$!

I vote for something reflective if you run outside in near-dark conditions at all. How about gloves, hat, headband, socks? I'm not familiar with luluemon's and don't know what they carry, so maybe these suggestions aren't even useful. ;)

I have several, and I do like them. Only 1 is a specific running jacket. The rest are cheap windbreakers. I like the cheapest lightest one I have the best as is really keeps the heat in. I got it for like $10 at Walmart. I even get too hot and have to unzip it.

I have a running vest. What I like about it. Light weight. High visibility. It is bright green. Lots of pockets. Wind resistant.

Cross posted in rookie runner group.

Hi everyone! I have a gift certificate to Lululemons and wondering what to get.

It is for $50

I have a ton of shirts, 2 tights, 2 capri's, 2 skirts and a bunch of shorts.

I also need to buy a hard hart (horseback riding) and the type I have to have for regulations is over $150 (ouch)

So.. I was thinking I don't have a running jacket, are they really all that? I am in SE WI and coldest I ran outside was 12. I had on 3 layers, the last being my hoodie from Fila and I was okay.

Just looking for some opinions on the gear there. I admit I really don't like their price tags as I live close to an Under Armor outlet!
