1/2 teaspoon per serving? That sounds like a lot to me. I guess maybe I don't use enough. I'll maybe try that for dinner.

Yeah I know, that's just one more reason why I love spices so much : D
Also spices make me avoid using to much salt..
I usually use a lot cayenne and ginger, and my favourite cinnamon.

A great way to flavor your meals is to add some particular spices which have thermogenic, or heating, properties that increase fat burn and boost metabolism. So, the tip is to season your dishes with 1/2 teaspoon per serving of cayenne or pungent spices like allspice, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, coriander and cumin or use fresh spices like garlic, ginger, and onions in cooking.
