I found a picture of my boyfriend holding his 8 year old son when the son was a baby in his son's computer pictures and printed out big colored copies of it for both. And I also bough a much needed protective cover for my boyfriend's Nook. His son is with his mom this weekend though, so he will get his copy of his picture on Mon or Tues when we see him next.

Happy Father's Day!!!

Any plans for Sunday to do for your spouse or dad.....A big breakfast is in store with an outing later in the day. Looking for a special gift to make his eyes light up....any idea?

12 ABOUT TOWN: Things to do on Father's Day

It's time to show appreciation to the number one man in your life. Here's a collection of the perfect things to do to celebrate him on Father's Day. Are dad's celebrator's 12 and under?
t's time to show appreciation to the number one man in your life. Here's a collection of the perfect things to do to celebrate him on Father's Day.

Are dad's celebrator's 12 and under? Then make it a family event to rejoice on his special day. Here are some activities that dad can enjoy with his wife and children.

Scrapbook with dad: Dig up the old photo albums, birthday and past father's day cards, and start a scrapbook of memories. Mom can get everything set for the arts and crafts project including scissors, paper, markers, stickers and glue. Arrange all the tools on the kitchen table, and let dad and the kids get to work. Dad can spend some quality time with his children on his day, as well as take a trip down memory lane. In the end, dad will have a keepsake to enjoy for years to come. Are dad and kids tech savvy? Click this link to make a virtual scrapbook online. You can print or share it online for family and friends to enjoy.

Breakfast in bed: Make dad feel like a king the minute he wakes up this Father's day by getting the kids to make him breakfast in bed. Mom, let them be your little helpers in the kitchen as you prepare a breakfast fit for a God. They can crack the eggs, lay the bacon in the pan, mix up the pancake batter, and pour his orange juice. Serve it all up on a tray, and have the kids take it to his bed for a wonderfully delicious surprise. Don't forget to tell dad who made this lovely meal, although surely the kids will take all the credit for it with pride.

Throw him a Father's Day shindig: Let the kids bring out their creative side and decorate the house for a Father's Day bash for dad. Put up streamers and party decorations. Use this link to find decorations specifically for dad's day! It includes printable cut outs that you can put up anywhere around the house. You can spice up the party even more by throwing in some fun games for the whole family to play. Help the kids start a treasure hunt and hide their Father's day gifts all around the house for dad to find. Play daddy trivia and have the children answer questions about dad to see who knows him the best. Make sure to take plenty of pictures to add to future photo albums.

If the kids are teens, then this means they probably don't spend as much time with dad as they are going through that phase of independence. Plan a dad's day full of activities specifically designed to make the kids spend the day with him.

Plan a day trip with dad: Set up a date for dad and the kids to any destination of his choice. This could be a trip to the beach, the golf park or a fishing trip. Anywhere dad wants to go the kids must follow.

Stay home and spend the day together: Dad loves spending time with his kids, so make his day by getting the kids to stay home staying home and do the things he loves with him. This can include watching his favorite TV show no matter how boring it is be it football, or the 5 o clock evening news. Be his servant for the whole day. Go all out and even give him a servant's bell so whenever he wants something he can just ring. Any household chores dad has to do have the kids do it for him. From washing his car to cooking him dinner, no task is too big on dad's special day.

Play board games: Make it a family fun night and play dad's favorite board games. Pull out Monopoly, Cranium, bingo or Yahtzee, and don't forget to grab plenty of snacks to munch on during game night. Don't have any board games? You can pick a few up at your local Wal-Mart.

If you're all grown up, then your dad probably barely gets time to see or spend time with you. With a busy career, and possibly children of your own your parents can sometimes slip to the back burner in your life. What we don't realize is that as we're growing older so are they, so make this Father's day all about hanging out with dad.

Go on a picnic: Make Father's day special for your old man by going on something as simple as a picnic in the park. Take him down to Maymont and pack a lunch of sandwiches, chips and plenty of water. Spend the whole day with him sightseeing the beautiful scenery and animals. Dad will love being able to enjoy quality time with you.

Take dad biking/hiking: Does your dad love being outside, and becoming one with nature? Did you just get dad that brand new, latest edition bike? Make this Father's Day perfect by taking him on a ride around town, and spending time bonding along the way. You could even make it a day hiking trip up the mountains as you bike the paths, and hike the rugged terrain. Get a great exercise while making dad's day special by doing something he loves with him.

Catch a movie: In the middle of June, temperatures on father's Day are expected to be hot. Stay cool with your dad, and catch a movie at your local theatre. Go see Man of Steel, Vehicle 19 or Hatchet 3 -- all expected to come out around Father's day. These action packed thrillers will give dad a rush of adrenaline, and happiness to be spending time with you. If you don't want to go see a movie, rent one, or watch a couple on Netflix, and make it a movie night in with dad.

Happy Father's Day!!!
