I will work on something. It sounds now like I will not be working over the summer which is fine by me. I just wasn't sure.
Might be late this month. I have company coming this week for a couple of days and I am out of town next week. Also would like to have something that is well thought.

I am not skilled to understand what GOD has willed what GOD has planned I only know at his right hand stands one who is my SAVIOR

I am on another team that has a monthly weigh in challenge.
You post your weight or a zero the first of the month and weigh in and track loss or gain weekly. It's not so much a challenge and an accountability as there isn't a preset goal.
Would this sort of thing suit you.
I was on a team that did a biggest loser thing too but that was way a lot of work for the one in charge and I doubt we could manage enough participation to make it work right now.
Otherwise I can look around on different forums and see what strikes my fancy.

Is anyone interested in a goal we could set for weight loss like say to lose 5 pound in 12 weeks or whatever time frame you all want....what do you think????

Hi Carol, my dr recommend to wear Brooks from Scheels or New Balance 800 no. Or higher. I have the NB 1340. I have had both and love them. Hope that helps:)

Anybody have any recommendations for walking shoes? My Avias are so ultra firm, they're not very comfy.

Haven't been here in a while. Quite busy with doing childcare and life in general. Would love to start some kind of challenge. Exercise would be great other than running around after kids all day. I love going for walks outside, just waiting for the weather to get warmer though.

I agree 10 to 15 minutes of exercise that is different from your routine. I push my wife who uses a wheelchair at times for a walk around our tiny town its about a 3 mile walk but this way she gets out of the house and our service dog walks most of it she is a cockapoo.

Otherwise try and get 8 hrs of sleep I know its hard for any college students to do this but this is the time your body repairs itself.

I'm a family caregiver & I also have MS gained to much weight sitting at home we have 7 grand children & now 2 of the grand kids live with us full time & they are my exercise too my daughter moved home to get her life in order too

How about 10 minutes of exercise daily? I know we're supposed to aim for :30, but if everyone could start with just 10 minutes of something beyond their usual activity, like climbing the stairs instead of taking the elevator, or parking farther away; just anything that's extra. For example, if you already take the stairs instead of the elevator at work, you could add parking farther away for an extra 10 minutes worth of walking.

Ha. Anyways. Trying to get some more activity going on this team, and would LOVE your input as to what you think the team goals should be!!!
