I'm with you. Carrots seem to stave me off if I am craving sweets. But I agree with the coffee suggestion. There is a chocolate brownie flavored coffee you can get at the grocery store (obviously my favorite)!

I love to eat too... yes, self diagnosed food addict... I've been trying the 10 minute rule... If I'm telling myself to eat something, I will set the timer for 10 minutes and if I still want it then I have it but a smaller version of what I would normally eat...

This may sound strange, but what I find really helpful when I have a craving is to have a nice hot cup of coffee (decaf if you prefer) with a couple squirts of Starbucks Sugar Free Syrup ... my favorites are caramel, hazelnut and vanilla. I order them on line from Starbucks and am on auto delivery. A shipment comes every eight weeks so I'm never caught short. The coffee has to be hot ... somehow it seems more filling and the sweetness of the syrup kills any craving.

May you always have

As a food addict, self diagnosed, I can empathize with your struggle. For me one is too many and 1000m never enough. I am better off not indulging, but sometimes I just get going and keep going like the energizer bunny. My best defense is calling my food addict friend. Stay strong. :)

Hi. I have those problems sometimes too. Do you ever eat a handful of almonds? Sometimes I find them more of a lasting snack than veggies or fruits.

I have been a bottomless pit of hunger and snacking. When I'm not eating, I'm thinking of eating. I eat lots of fiber and veggies, but it just isn't satisfying, I feel like I would probably be better off eating what I'm craving and be better off. The problem is once I start eating I just can't quit.
