My seat is in a straight position, so I sit with my back to the seat, it's the most comfy position for my lower back pain.

Sit back. I would probably hit someone leaning forward. Lol

I usually lean back in my seat. Pet peeve: I hate headrests that push my head forward, and in my car I've pulled the headrest and turned it backwards.

Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear.

When I drive I usually sit back in my seat. When I am lost though, I am hunched over the steering wheel trying to see the street signs. Oh and when it is raining. I also need to improve on my posture and will make a big effort to straighten out.

I am making a concerted effort to be more aware of my posture when driving places after readling some articles here on SparkPeople. I am quite short so my seat is pretty far up and I tend to keep my seat back very straight so I can see better over the hood of my car emoticon and I just like to sit straight up not leaned back. But I did notice I will sometimes hunch my shoulders forward and be leaning slightly forward over the wheel when I am concerned and stressed. One of my streaks going foward is to roll my shoulders back and ensure my back and head make contact with my seat and headrest for proper alignment.

Do you hunch forward or something else when you feel anxious, stressed, or whenever you drive?
