Just think how much worse it would be if you didn't start now! Any little change is a step in the right direction. I'm still struggling with things after 7 months, but am way better off than I would have been if I didn't do anything at all.

There's no such thing as a bad time to start! That's a mistake that a lot of people make and end up putting off things they should do. Good for you!
You don't need to do everything at once...just start adding one good habit at a time and doing it well until it becomes second nature.

Spark People will give you a food plan, or you can use one from your doctor. Just be sure to have a sensible plan and not a "diet" that deprives you of so much.
I follow a pre-diabetic plan that is just a healthy food plan. Be sure to eat at least 5 fruits and vegetables every day!!!

OK, so I picked this week to start and havent hit a goal yet other than fitness and tracking and water but I guess not doing any of those would be worse. It is really amazing how much trash I actually eat. I have made myself track everyday even if I didnt want to know the answer! That is my goal, to keep tracking even through the holidays when we will be eatting all the times it seems like! Suggestions how to really get started and get the calorie count to start coming down would be appreciated!
