I don't think I clicked on share my recipe. I was entering a simple recipe to see how the recipe tab worked.

Did you check under all three tabs under the "recipes" tab? I usually find mine under "shared recipes." I would think it would be under that if it is showing under the recipes section and you put "share" when you put it into the recipes. Otherwise, try going to the Message Boards under Community and ask there (I think under Site/Technical Support). They have tech support people that will answer the questions on there. I often have to do that.

I made a recipe and shows in the recipe section for spark people, but it does not show in my nutrition tracker for the recipe tab. Is that normal or did I miss a step? How do I get my recipe to come into my recipe tab?

I think you do that from the nutrition tracker. Under the "groupings" it has "create a new group." It also says you can group after you have entered the foods in the tracker. I haven't used that except maybe once accidentally. Like you, I always have gone back and copied. I probably should group my omelet that I usually make instead of entering everything separately. Lately I have been too lazy to enter. Guess I should get back at it since I am trying to get back to low carb again.

Thanks for the info to create a recipe. Is this also a good place to enter a snack tray I enjoy? Or is there a better way for something like this. I have seen how I can copy a meal for another day. Unfortunately I don't always remember which day I ate a particular food grouping. Is there someplace to save something like this? I am also now wondering if there is a way I can automatically have entered into my daily nutrition tracker items I drink or eat on a daily basis?

Thanks for the help to make the nutrition tracker easier and less time consuming.

You need to put the recipe in SparkRecipes.com. There is a place to add/calculate a recipe. When you get the ingredients in Step 1, then go on to Steps 2 and 3 to put how much of each ingredient, etc. and save the recipe or share the recipe. Then when you are entering foods into your nutrition tracker, choose from recipes, shared recipes if it is one that you have entered.

I found how to enter individual foods, but not how I may be able to enter a recipe. I have some things I eat ie: vegetable and yogurt snack I would like to give a name and be able to enter one thing not the 7 individual items when I eat it. Is this possible?

I have to say this is quite a site for food tracking. I think it is the most extensive I have ever seen.
