Not my Patriots, though I was DELIGHTED to see them beat the Broncos.

MY team is the FIVE TIMES Super Bowl, San Francisco Forty Niners, who now get to host the New York Giants, at Candlestick Park...where I will watch them, HOPEFULLY go on to the Super Bowl and win it for the 6th time.

I spend many a football game walking on the treadmill or cycling through at least one quarter, or more.

I am NOT a Broncos fan...can't stand 'em (had several bad experiences at Mile High stadium.) can't wait to see the game against the Patriots next week.

It was AWSOME! I ALWAYS watch the games alone, other than Christmas Eve...and we all know how that game turned out. I have really worked to remind myself that events don't need to revolve around food & alcohol! So, during the games I try to eat like I do every other day.

What a game!!! This is what the playoffs are all about and I for one am really excited to see how far we can go!

I was wondering how everyone handles tailgate and game day food planning? Any secrets to enjoying friends, family and the game?

Mine is probably too simple...plan ahead. I always try to find replacements that help me feel like I am not depriving myself of the fun. Yesterday I made phillies for the family, little did they know I used fat free cheese very little olive oil low fat mayo and lots of extra veggies. I put mine in a whole wheat wrap (without the mayo)and it was wonderful. Added a few packs of 100 cal backed chips to the table and LOTS of water with Mio (my wonder product).

Super bowl is coming and I could use some new ideas, anyone up for sharing?
