Yikes....I know moving is NOT fun, hubby has had to move his cousin several times and we both have helped out friends in the past.
I don't mind helping other's out though but, when it comes to myself.....I don't even know where we would begin.
At least you are MOVING UP right?

I'm in the process of getting ready to move. Oh, so much fun! Don't know yet when we will be moving, but it should be in the next couple of weeks.
We are moving to another apartment in our same complex...our current place is a 2 bed 1 bath, the new place is a 2 bed/ 2 bath, little bit bigger same price for rent (well being on Housing, our share will be more, due to the economy 7 lower funding, but it's not too much more), and the kitchen is somewhat more accessible for my DH.
ahhh, fun...

I'm still around :) I started a new job last week so I haven't been as active on here as I was. I even have been forgetting to put my food in! And i've missed tracking my goals lately too. I keep meaning to do a blog entry.

I just found this group. I"m glad there are others trying the more Naturopathic route! Seems to be helping me. Except my face breaks out more, but I'll live with it! haha. But the pain is less.

Aww Josey.....I'm so sorry to hear your news, was praying for you, I hope it does happen for you and hubby someday.

I've been up and down now with depression thoughts, not sure if they stem from Endo or just other issues in general. I've always had this anger inside since my late teens and thought after time it would go away.
I hate discussing it with my doctor because all they want to do is put you on drugs, no I don't want them to run my life.
I know some people may need/want them, but I personally do not.
So, that's that.

Right, I haven't seen Kris on here in a little while, does anyone know how she is doing???
Thoughts are with you hun and hoping everything was a success.

How about all the other ladies out there, how are you???????

Josey.....I would like you to keep the group going. There aren't enough sites on Endo. and even if it is just the few of us, it helps ME, it really does!

Thinking about YOU ALL!!!

PLEASE stop by and POST.

good morning ladies emoticon

tina, im sorry you're feeling so worn down! hopefully while the weather is still mild this year you can find a way to rejuvenate. maybe for a while you can try to focus on something non-exercise that you'd like to change--an eating habit, sleeping schedule, time for relaxing each day, etc...something else to contribute to a healthy day! i totally empathize with the "non-correctly working body part" when it comes to working out...i get really frustrated with my foot/ankle problems and then get out of my groove (very easily i might add). so can you at least minimize the knee issue by icing/elevating it every day after work? even if you only did it for 20 min or so i'm sure it would help. also, i've been using arnica gel (arnica is a plant) on my sore feet/ankles and it works wonders. hang in there!! things will look up!

as for me, i lost the baby again :( this time wasnt quite so bad (in a certain sense) because i wasnt so far along as last time. i pretty much found out and lost it in the same week. my period started saturday with heavy cramps on my right side (same side i had the tubal last time) so altho i'll never know for sure if it was a tubal, i'm guessing it was. my hCG levels barely rose, but i'm still going back for another test on friday to make sure they went all the way back down.

so needless to say i had a rough holiday weekend, but all is well. obviously i'm very disappointed and hurt, but i cant hang on to those feelings constantly or they'll hinder my ability to keep getting healthier! (aka clearing my tubes!) i'll have good days and bad and just know that there's a higher plan for all that is happening!

one other thing...dont forget kris has her hysterectomy next week on june 3rd. judging by her blog i think she's already gone from spark for a while but i'm sure she would appreciate hearing from us!! if you do read this kris, we're sending up tons of thoughts and prayers!

so just some random thoughts...

ive been thinking off and on about our team and whether it's worth it to keep around. we have a good chunk of members, however a small percentage of participation :) i've never been one to care about how big or small a group is because my goal is to help and be helped--many times that only takes one other person! :) and it has been such a blessing to have you ladies around. i think what's bothering me is that i personally havent met the vision i had for the group...unfortunately only a few weeks after i created the group unforeseen major events started happening in my life and havent stopped! LOL!

so i think for now what i will do is just keep doing what we're doing. i dont want anyone to feel obligated to post on any sort of schedule or participate unwillingly in any sort of challenge or whatnot. originally i'd planned on spooning out tons of information in our "library" forum, but i think now what would be best is just being an *avenue* in which people can seek out new and different information and ways to treat their endo themselves.

all our experiences and wants are different--take kris for instance. she's having a hysterectomy, but she can still use holistic methods to help her heal and continue to stay healthy afterward. using more natural ways to treat our ailments is really more about learning patience, understanding our bodies better and using methods that are less invasive but still support good health. and they never have to be put in their own "box" separate from conventional medicine. the two easily mesh and many people find greater relief with a combo of the two :)

anyway, i'll stop rambling. i'm glad you all are here and now that i am on my own mission again (last time it was getting rid of a cyst, which i did--now it's clearing my tubes!) i may start posting more or at least blogging my experience.

hope you all are having a good week--at least it's a short one!

I'm feeling run down lately and haven't worked out for 2 1/2 weeks now. My left knee was bothering me and when I went to the doctor last week along with my son, he said it's from my work, which I knew but there's nothing to do. Then I'm sitting on the couch yesterday and my mom says: geez Tina your legs are awfully swollen and bruised, do they hurt? I said yes and sometimes they tingle, yuck. On top of all that. when I went to the doc. I went up 10 pounds, but had my period too, so who knows, just feeling crappy and really wiped out lately.

How are you Josey, been to the doctor?

Everyone else???

ooooohhhh, Josey, I'm praying and keeping my fingers crossed that things work out for you guys this time! (and sending you lotsa sticky baby dust!).

My DH still has a little bit of a cough, and is still getting his voice back, but yep, the meds have helped a great deal. He takes his last round of antibiotics today.
As for me, my cold pretty much went away. I still get tired especailly if I do too much one day, but wait.... that's normal for me :). AFter not being able to exercise all last week, I've enjoyed getting to ride my bike the last 2 days! I'm signed up for a 10 mile bike race in June, that gives me something to work towards. I've helped/ volunteered at bike races before, but never ridden in one!

becky, i'm sorry your hubby's been sick. i read your last blog post--are his meds helping him get over it yet? has your cold turned into a full-blown one or are you feeling better, too? i'm thinking of you!

kris--i read your blog, too, and i'm so sorry about the house full of sickness! i was just thinking last night that your surgery was coming up. dont feel like a bad mom! you are right, you NEED this surgery so you can get on with your life! thing positive thoughts and it will help boost that immune system! i'm praying for you. please keep us updated!

tina--great job working out!! how is your new gym membership working out? (saw that on your blog!!) did you get a good mp3 playlist goin? that helps me a LOT!! and man, you HAVE had a busy May...hehe...dang girl! did you have fun at the festival last weekend? tell us all about it!

things have still been crazy around here. i have been working quite a bit, and when i'm not there i'm working in the yard. we inherited a lot of flower beds that were neglected for several years but they're starting to shape up! this weekend we're having a garage sale and the next we're heading to visit my family in Indiana.

then on top of all that (and more plans throughout june!) i have been feeling a bit odd physically the last week. it was like how i felt when i got pregnant back in january. Fred was supposed to come sometime this week, but yesterday i took a pregnancy test anyway. it was positive! emoticon i'm very surprised and obviously ecstatic--i'm just scared of another tubal pregnancy because i'm having some mild cramps on my right side again. i'm calling my OB/GYN this morning and hopefully they will start monitoring me right away this time. any good thoughts and prayers would be appreciated emoticon --i'm nervous and trying not to jump the gun and be sad because things feel the same as last time. i'll keep you updated!

i hope everyone else is feeling well and enjoying springtime. stop in anytime and let us all know how you're doin!

Good Morning everyone!
I'm sorry I haven't got to post this whole week. My DH has been sick for almost 2 weeks, my AF came Sun night, which wiped me out, and then I came down with a mild cold. Like they say, it comes in 3's right???? lol...

Well Hello yourself!

Yes actually May has become a somewhat busy month.

I've worked out a few times and am going to get my butt in gear to do more.

I have to have hubby help me find my mp3 player and put songs on it for me, for the gym while I walk or eliptical.

I might be helping friends move this weekend, Syttende Mai
Norwegian Constitution Day
May 17

Our 2009 Syttende Mai festival will be held
May 15th, 16th and 17th, 2009. - is this weekend, hubby grew up in Stoughton, so he doesn't really care about it, but I take Wyatt and my friend's daughter is in the parade on Sat., next Tues. is a playgroup (finally) for Wyatt, then Thurs. is hubby's cousins 20th b-day party, Sat. is his friend/guitarist's 40th b-day party that the band is playing for, then the 29th hubby and I are going to see Jeff Dunham in Madison with friends, 30th hubby plays in Stoughton with his band and on the 31st our nephew's 4th b-day party.

Wow....I guess I did have some things to talk about.

i figured i'd start a generic long-standing chat thread instead of a monthly general one since the team's not that big! hopefully this makes it easier to recall past convos and not lose track of what we're all up to :)

i tell ya, it's been a challenge getting back in the groove after vacation. it's been a week already and i still feel groggy and out of sync! it will be nice this weekend because we have NO PLANS so hopefully that will finally be the transition back to normalcy. lol.

how is everyone? any big plans in may? memorial weekend festivities?

hope to hear from you all soon!
