I see a huddle has been added, don't know too much about it but threw my 2 words in anyways.

How is everyone this week?

I'm feeling a lot better but still have a little cough and when I cough too hard, I pee....gross or what, my bladder must be weak after I had Wyatt.
We're taking our house off the market over the winter and trying ourselves in the spring, does anyone know anything about for sale by owner's? We're going to try it on our own but don't know what all you need to know to sell our own home.
And other than that, just getting ready for Christmas.
Opps, gotta go eat dinner but I'll be back later to check on you all!:P
See you later!
Tina

I totally know what you mean about stressing about the fertility treatments, Josey. That's one of the main reasons we haven't done any yet either. I do chart my cycles, but that's as far as we're willing to go for now. DH hasn't done anything other than change his diet a bit (because he only eats what I cook for him emoticon ).

As for visiting the fam, we get to see each family once a year... mine in VA for Thanksgiving and DH's in KS for Christmas. Because of the crazy schedule we have with wrestling, we only get those two weeks off for the whole year. The in-laws usually visit us here in KY over the summer for a week or so, but my fam can't afford the trip, and we're so busy while they're here that we don't get to spend much time with them anyway. :(

Anywho, I'm super excited to get to visit, but I've only got a day and a half to get all my work done before we leave, so I'd better get back to it! I hope you all have a great day!

hang in there, tina emoticon i have to admit, i know nothing about femara or pretty much any of the fertility drugs or treatments. i do know that it seems that so many women struggle when using them--usually because they are to the point where they want a baby so badly and when things dont pan out, its so stressful! (and expensive, too, im sure.) i guess that is one reason why i started our group, in the hopes that many of us women with endo can find a way to circumvent the traditional fertility treatments and help our bodies find that healthy spot and be able to conceive! while it may be more of a watch and wait sort of thing, i've known women with endo who do a total diet overhaul and get pregnant within months. makes me wonder if i could have gotten pregnant by now had i really been serious and stuck with what i KNOW i need to be doing every day! but since i havent, i can at least say i know i am healthier and feel better overall. and in my mind, that's reason enough to say i'm glad i chose this route. and while deep down i reallly reallly want to be a momma some day, i just cant bring myself to the mental stress i know fertility treatments would bring me. i dont think i could handle it! and any woman who does i respect a whole heck of a lot!!

so tina, maybe over the next few months if you start incorporating some holistic changes you might find your body cooperating better with the fertility treatments! that would be my hope! emoticon

manna, i'm sorry you havent conceived, either. bummer!! has your hubby been doing anything to help his fertility? and i'm glad you are recovering from your UTI! yikes! i've never had one, and i think i'm glad i havent. lol. we are having turkey day at my inlaws here in WI and then the day after we are heading to IN to see my family again. so wow, you havent seen your fam in over a year?? where do they live?

i hope you all are having a superb week so far. its gettin late here so i better think about winding down for the nite!!

i'll check in tomorrow emoticon

I'm sorry you're feeling discouraged, Tina. emoticon

I know it can be frustrating... we haven't started any fertility treatments yet, but tomorrow will be exactly 18 months since our wedding and while we haven't been specifically "trying" the whole time, we've not used any means of "avoiding" either. We've hit the window 15 out of 18 months, and still no go. So, I guess all that is to say that I don't really have any advice, but just know you're not alone!

Oh UTI's not fun at all but so glad you're feeling better!

Josey, glad you're better too and that your weekend went well!

I have to get this off my chest ok: I'm really dissappointed, I just began taking femara for helping to conceive last month and it didn't work.
I actually started bleeding last night and now am heavy today and full blown pain.
Now I have to begin another round of the femara this month.
It's confusing too: day 1: first day of bright red bleeding, day 5-9: take 5 mg of my femara after negative home pregnancy test, day 7: repeat test and stop if pregnant, days 12-17: expect to ovulate, then have intercourse every other day starting 5 days before ovulation and continuing 5 days after, by day 35: you should have your next period, do a pregnancy test if you haven't gotten it and if pregnant, make ob appoint., if not, go back to day 1, try 4-6 months of this and if it doesn't work, we talk about other options.
It just stinks, I actually got it early this month.
I have bright red TODAY, when it wasn't supposed to happen until the day:35 would be-SAT.

Sometimes I literally hate my body ya know.

I'm really quite down today because hubby and I were just talking about me having cramps yesterday and he said; remember you had them the first couple months pregnant with Wyatt.....oh so sad! :(

And I told myself only 3 months of this stuff and then it's on our own, if it happens super excited, if not....honestly I don't know how I will feel.
I'm so glad I have Wyatt, I should be concentrating on him too and then I think about getting pregnant and doing all this stuff, am I going crazy?!

I wish I could say I felt great today but ya know, it's been one of those typical Mondays.

Then our second showing on our home didn't go well either, oh economy stinks too.

Things are pretty good here! We had a nice weekend and actually got Saturday off from travelling! emoticon (Since hubby is a wrestler, we usually have to travel 2-3 hours one way for shows on Fri, Sat, and sometimes Sun, so a day off is a great treat!)

I had to go to the doc on Thursday because I ended up with a UTI, but I'm done with my course of antibiotics and all fixed up now. Man, those things are a pain! But I did get a treat in finding out that I lost 2 pounds when I weighed in at the doc's office. emoticon

Other than that, DH and I are just trying to get everything together for our trip home for Thanksgiving. I'm so excited to see my family... haven't seen them for a whole year! I'm having a super hard time focusing on work because I am so ready to hit the road!

hello tina!!
and of course everyone else! :)

well i hopped on here yesterday morning while hubby and his friend were getting ready to head out to brunch. i had a decent message typed and my fingers hit some weird keys or something and erased my message! i was SO TICKED! LOL! i hate it when that happens. so i said screw it and figured i'd just write it over today. haha. soooo i WAS here! just, invisible i guess! emoticon

i think i am about 95% recovered from my little bug! my stomach has been a little shaky off and on, but other than that i feel fine. whew! we had a great weekend with ken's out-of-town buddy and he's safely back home in Atlanta now.

the only sucky thing about the weekend is that FRED visited me! (aka Aunt Flo or Tom! LOL!) he came early, too--my cycle was only about 26 days long, which is odd for me. and since i was on the go alll weekend, it forced me to take a lot of pain killers which i dont prefer to do. most months i just slow down as much as possible and drink lots of red raspberry leaf tea, take lots of warm baths and rest. but, i survived. and i think the mini-fasting i did the few days before (because of the flu lol) helped keep me from getting all bloated! hahah!!

soooooo this week i am ON A MISSION. emoticon i have a goal to get under 200lb by the end of the month and i'm at 201.5. i thought maybe we could do some sort of little mini challenge for just this week and the days leading up to thanksgiving next week. what do you all think!?

like tina said, it HAS been super quiet here! i know we're just gettin the group started, but try to hop in and let everyone know how you're doing as much as you can! i am FINALLY going to get some other stuff rolling this morning for us, so stay tuned for plenty of info and updates!! emoticon

okee, off to get some stuff started. hope to hear from everyone!!!
