Thanks for the info Debra...I have it in my favorites now and I can find it without a problem...

I can see where la la la would never run out of "things" to roll in...how many baths does she get? Sadie is only about 12 lbs...but she is Westie and I have been told Eskimo Spitz...some of them are not real big and she does have the Spitz tail...Curly Q over her back...Tell DH that I have the keys to the car in my hand and to get Sadie back I start the engine and tell her "go for a ride"...then we have to go for a ride to keep up the pretense or she won't come back next time.

I'm off to shower and bed, talk to you tomorrow...

sounds like sadie and kirby and la la la may have the same evil related squirrels...lol
kirby and la la la have the retractable 25 foot leashes but if they see a squirrel they start running and pull me down the hill !! kirby is 25 pounds and la la la 19 and it's amazing how stong they are. the trees the squirrels are in are by a small lake at the bottom of the hill. i have been telling them for 8 years someday i'll end up in the lake..........lol. my dh takes them out off leash and that's when they run around and get in trouble. la la la is a poo roller and being at a farm there is definately no shortage of it for her to find!!!!!
i ring the door bell and kirby comes back so he can bark at it. i have to take the leashes outside and clap them together and la la la will come back. i think if there was a squirrel or something out there while off leash to chase they would keep going. dh thinks all he'd have to do is crank up a tractor or 4 wheeler and they would come back. i hope he never has to test that theory!!!!

I have to take her out on a lead therefore she only gets 25 feet before she reaches the end of the tether....I wish I could let her out and let her run but she has a problem of not coming back when I call her.

We also have a tree in the front yard that the squirrels come to and Sadie just has fits...My storm door is open often and she will take off running and barking and I know that she is hell bent for leather that the critter is hers...ooops...door in the way...bark bark bark.

I am at a loss of how to get to "a special place to meet"... I have found the General team forum but am lost to find the other...send me a note when you get a chance and let me know where the team meets...

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and tell Kirby and La La La hello from Sadie and the cats...

hi,
i just found this post. i have satellite net since i live at a farm in the middle of nowhere and sometimes i don't get my e-mails when they are sent. that's one reason for on the main team page we have the "a special place to meet" thread is so helpful. we know we can meet up there everyday and not miss each other...lol. i hope you'll pop in there, say hello and join in. my net is notorious for going out and sometimes i have to wait late to get a post in.

i love your sadie is a squirrel chaser too. kirby and la la la are dragging me down the hill almost everyday this week chasing them. they always get away. my dh has some bee boxes by some trees and those squirrels have learned they can jump tree to tree and get in that tree and be safe because kirby and la la la can't go to that tree because of the bees. we also have a tree in front of the window and a squirrel will come there and eat starring at kirby, driving him crazy he can't get out it and get it. they are 8 and still haven't caught one yet. do any of your squirrels taunt sadie???? has she caught one before and do they have certain stragities of getting away from her??

I just wanted to say "Good Morning" to everybody and tell you that Sadie thinks she can catch squirrels...She is so funny going out the door at 90 MPH and the squirrels scatter...trying to go up the trees after them is just a hoot...

I am so glad I found her...
