I cant keep up with my new range. I under eat all this week. Is it possible that under eating is why I've stalled? I thought it was because I cheated and skipped workouts.

I went ahead and switched. After adding my Fitbit, it kept telling me that I was eating to few calories every day. After switching, it upped my calorie range by about 700 calories a day.

The calorie differential report works the same, so I'm happy about that. I can still do the monitoring, but can no longer put in the typical calorie range.

My old calorie range was 1200-1550. Yesterday I had 1902 calories (near the bottom of what it says I should have had) and my differential was -714. If I had stayed with the old range of eating, it would have been much more of a difference and possibly more than 1000, which is too big of a difference for losing slowly.

I switched. I have a fitbit, and like that it will sync. however, it changed my range, upping it by about 500 calories. I have to wrap my head around that.

I am going to keep mine the way it is for now. I am a little nervous to switch over especially since you can't switch back once you do. It has been working for me the way it is, so I don't see a need to change.

How will this affect the calorie differential? I'm holding out for now.

SP announced new fitness and food trackers this week.

SparkPeople has announced the launch of a much-requested change to their Fitness and Nutrition Trackers. This may interest a large percentage of members, especially those with active jobs or lifestyles—and people currently in weight-maintenance mode.
Here's the announcement found at

Is anyone using the new trackers? What do you think?

I haven't switched yet. I currently do my food tracking in myfitnesspal app and that syncs with fitbit so it does give me fitness calories now.
