Hey Sharon I am so glad you are ok. Hang in there. I always keep candy with me at all times just in case i get low reaction. I myself had a rough week last week with my BS getting too Low. My diabetes doctor had to lower my insulin intake because I kept feeling dizzy and sick. I was sick too to top it off.

Go Broncos!!!

Sharon I am so sorry. I been through that and it is not fun. Maybe you need to be checking your levels more frequently. You might want to try keeping some gel paks with you. I am a cyclist and use these to keep my energy levels up. You can get them at your local cycle shop. Maybe keeping a few of these they may process quicker. I know that in cycling we use these to get a quick energy boost. I wonder if they would help you in this situation. Hang in there.

I have been doing bad in the last week. BS are up and down. I don't know what to do. I have been eating right and exercising. This morning I got a real shock. Iwas in church and the gospel was real long being palm Sunday. I remember the preist starting the gospel and the people were suppose to say parts in it, but I couldn't read anything, nnothing made sense. I then sat down but I didn't want to disturb mass so I just sat there and blanked out. During comuniion my husband went to the car and got my glucose tablets and ended uuuuuup giving me three. I remember nothing. At the end of mass I just sat there, someone went and got me a big glass of orange juice. I drank that and my husband brought up the car to the door. After the glucose tablets and orange juice my BS was up to 50. I have been knoen to be walking around at 22 so it had to be lower then that. He took me to mcDonalds and got ne orange juice and a Mc griddle. That didn't help so he brought me home and gavee me 24 ounces of Coke . I was out for one and a half hours. I really got scared. My husband was a paramedic for 28 years so I didn't have to go to the hospital at least. This evening I am tired but otherwise OK.

God bless
Sharon

I don't see many posts from this team. Hope everyone is doing good. It is tough as a diabetic to stay on track with the extra obstacles it brings. Post here to help encourage us all to stay on track.
