Do Not Worry

6:25-33 pp—Lk 12:22-31

Mt 6:25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?

I use one touch Ultra strips and meter. I use Relion ultra thin lancets too. I do have insurance that helps greatly especially when it comes to strips, lancets and Insulin.

oh yes! it was like relearning all about the disease when he was diagnosed. the reason we thought something was wrong was because he was drinking water like crazy and his urine was thick, a lot, and smelly, and he was pooping outside his box which is not like him at all. Turns out his bs was very high! But now he gets insulin and we had to change his diet (wet food is actually better than dry food-less carbs!).

I use the Lifescan OneTouch Ultra and OneTouch Fasttake. Thankfully my insurance pays some of hte strips cost-I pay about $17 for a 3-month supply. I do use the Reli-On insulin syringes for my cat-he's also diabetic and insulin dependent. They are about half the cost of the name brand syringes I was using!

I like the contour but, my pocketbook says relion (Walmart Brand). You get 50 strips for about $25.00 and 100 strips for about $45.00. With diabetes everything you can do to save money.
