Thank you for your great welcome! I'm looking forward to sharing my helful ideas with everyone and to learn from you folks, too! They say the last 40 or so lbs are the hardest to get off so I need all of you, too, for encouragement! God bless!

I started losing weight 7 years ago with a starting weight of about 300 lbs. (When I got married 50 years ago I was 112 lbs). I joined various diet programs and have now cut way down on my portion sizes and am at 179 lbs. I went from sizes 26-28W to 16-18W and my doctor wants me to stabilize at 135-140 lbs. I do not exercise faithly so want to work on this more. My husband of 50 years marriage has it, too, but he doesn't watch his diet at all. He will soon have to go on insulin but my numbers are all normal now. I do send out a diabetic and a dieting newsletter-nothing fancy but with ideas and recipes if any one would like to receive it just email me at: evyjean39@yahoo.com
