Hi Everyone!
I have been bad! I am visiting my son, daughter in law and grand baby and not excersizing like I should.

Was wondering how everyone else is doing? I am starting again today! No more excuses. playing with the grand baby (7months) reminds me that it is important to get going so I can keep up as he gets bigger.

Also if I get the right amount of exercise the blood sugars do go down.:) I am working at changing my attitude from "exercise is drudgery" to "Exercise is important for ME. Just as important as cleaning the house, laundry, and running the kids around!GO ME!"

lol I know it sounds stupid but hey, as Adrienne says "I am worth it!"

Thanks for all the encouragement from everyone as I see that I am not the only one and that some of you have the right attitude to exercise. It has really helped.

I am so excited! My husband bought me a elliptical at Sears yesterday. Never thought exercise equipment would excite me that much! before it would excite me to see how much clothes it could hold! emoticon
Sears had no interest on all exercise equipment over 399. It was a regular 799 and I got it for 399! I am so excited. It comes in Thursday! My daughter is excited too! Since graduating high school, she has gained some weight since she no longer plays softball everyday. She has about 20lbs to lose.(I wish I was her size now!) They say most athletes gain weight out of high school since they do not work out like before. Well come Thursday afternoon we will be actually fighting over this machine! My workout room is really coming along! I have a bike, weight center, ab lounger and now elliptical! Hard to believe that a short 8 months ago workout was not on my mind in the least. Now I am ready to do it everyday! emoticon
Well everyone have a blessed day!
Maria

I understand what you are saying! Excersize is really important! I know it is....but so much easier to think about than actually do.

I have found it helps motivate me to keep track of how much I am doing by using the tracker on the site. I also signed up for the My Fitness Minutes....Hoping that would encourage me to excercize more. :) just did that so I will let you know.

Hang in here and maybe you can encourage the others of us that are to tired and enjoy that warm bed in the morning. :)

I like the treadmill 'cause you can walk for a few minutes or longer. Put bread in the oven and go walk on the treadmill while it cooks. Put clothes in the dryer, go walk on the treadmill. Have fun. Almost winter there and we are already using the air conditioner.

I am trying very hard to find a way to fit exercise into my day but with family and work(homecare and personal care) I am finding that i am exhausted at the end of the day and although awake at 6am getting up and going out in the dark really does nothing for me. I do have a treadmill at home and am wondering if that would suffice for wallking outside. I realise there is nothing better than fresh air but at 6am with winter approaching much prefer my warm bed to frosty mornings.
