Some people might be able to give you ideas; however, it doesn't mean it will work for you. Every single person's body is different, and so is their GP. What foods work for one person might not work for you and vice versa. You can get ideas and try them, but they might do more harm than good OR they might work well. So while people can share it might not do you any good.

There are many causes of GP, and different causes means different results. A person with diabetic GP (the most common form) must eat completely differently than someone with my unique and somewhat rare cause (a genetic condition). If you know the cause, it might help you to figure out how best to eat and live with it; but, if you don't know the cause you still have to work on trial and error to find what works best for your body.

The very first place to start is to check in with your doctors and tell them what's going on. Then work with a dietician. You'll probably be recommended to start with a clear liquid diet for several days, then try a full liquid diet for several days, and if that works then very slowly add in small amounts of one or two solid foods every couple days. It's a long process but extremely worthwhile. Once you've cleared out the unhealthy foods from your body, your symptoms will likely lessen and allow you to try healthier foods slowly over time to see how your body handles them.

In one of the other topics I gave more information about some of the habits that do more harm than good for GP. I also gave a bit of information about what usually helps.

Hi all, I hAve viewed every (one I cold find) gp meal planner on the web over these past 4 years since diagnosis, yet I don't follow them and either feel it is too little or too much depending on day. Plus it looks unappetizing bc I have no true hunger being full of gas stool or liquid.

Could you please share a few sample days with meals and when you eat them please? Also when do you drink hydrating liquids? If I eat I am too full to drink, if I drink I am too full to eat. I could live on crackers nuts and juice with fruit and candy. I don't purée my fruit when I want solid food. If I purée my food, I end up eating too much at once because it feels like juice to me. Help please?

Ps I don't cook and I don't like cooked food with flavors or smells - I then have to burp it up for 24 hous and after that never want to see it again.
