Yes, I'm finding that blogging/journaling is VERY helpful. Even when I think I don't have the energy to put things into sentences, I can list things in a brief "bullet" form and get it out there. And then there are other times it comes flowing out. Either way, getting it out of my head helps to sort things out, and just venting in my blog helps to take some of the stress off my mind.

SP offers us the chance to blog as often and as long as we want, BUT the blogs are open to almost anyone to read. There is also a private journal that no one can read that we can also use. If you haven't seen it, it's under the My Tools tab and choose Planner. The journal is to the right of the calendar you can use to remind you of things.

I'm also hearing that blogging or journaling on a regular basis is a great idea. That way stuff doesn't have a chance to build up and make for a meltdown. And of course it's OK to blog about a good day or something great that happened.

Life's an adventure ... take it one step at a time and don't underestimate yourself! You're capable of more than you think you are! How do I know this? You're still here aren't you? That means you haven't given up!

Lucky,
thanks for starting this post. I know we all need this. I too am SUFFERING with the stress thing. My rememdy has been walking, out in open spaces, enjoying the fresh air, just letting my mind open up. My next big thing has been journaling and blogging. Not necessarily on here, but putting it all down has been a HUGE thing for me.

I'm all eyes. I need help in this area.
I just finished a regime of Gatorade and antibiotics; gained 10 pounds in less than 2 week. Got on the scale yesterday and entered new weight, got on the scale today and lost since yesterday...Yeah. Now I am HUNGRY and am afraid to eat. Settled for PB2 on toast.

Yo ticker! Thank you for moving down:)
Turtle take 2 steps down...ugh! ugh!

This is a new thread dedicated to helping each other deal with stress. Stress is known to make gastroparesis worse, so managing our stress has to become a priority -- since we're limited in what we can do to make GP tolerable.

Please share what works for you, what ideas you've heard, what doesn't seem to help. Let's find ways to cope with stress and see if our GP issues improve!
