I'm not sure there's any one answer LAKERSGURU. I don't like the treadmill, so I split mine cardio between the stairmaster (my fave because I swear I work harder), and the elliptical. Sometimes I get bored, so do 15 or 20 minutes on one machine, then do the rest on the other. I think if you change it up every so often..even if you've done one machine for a few weeks, then switch..it's a good thing.

Before I begin my STRENGTH-TRAINING, I usually spend 60 mins as a "warm-up" each day on one of these machines... They all seems equally as good, since either causes me to began sweating profusely somewhere around the 30 min mark...

I understand that change-up is necessary in order to keep MUSCLES confused & involved, as this is necessary to avoid PLATEAU'ING... So recently, I began alternating constantly, making sure to use each machine every 3rd session...

It seems to be working for now, in the short term, as my LEGS are BIGGER, STRONGER & never seems to TIRE-OUT anymore.... My QUESTIONS are:

Will this strategy work well for the LONG RUN??? Or should much more time be spent doing each individual exercise before alternating??? If so, what is a respectable amount of time to spend on each, before moving on????

EXPERIENCE MATTERS.....

Thanks...
